Carlisle, PA

We stayed in room 112. Over all very clean only the standard dirt. Two beds two baths. Beds were comfy showers had good pressure. Kitchen living room were nice. Room was clean and everything worked. Associate who checked us in was terrific super friendly which I loved. Easy to find. Was able to park in front of the door we entered to get to our room which was terrific. Overall good experience.

Slight problem with

Both bathrooms had o my cold water from the sink faucets. If you wanted to wash or brush, you better do it in within 10 seconds until the water turns boiling hot. I’ve never seen anything like that in my life. Otherwise, the 2-bedroom room was very large and otherwise ok.

The staff was helpful and friendly. However the bathroom had black spots of mold on the wall paper, the toilet didn’t t flush properly, you could hear the people above all night loudly talking. There were batteries missing in the remotes and dishes stilll in the dishwasher from the previous stay. The milk at the breakfast counter in their fridge was spoiled and there were ants on the food counter, many of them. The facility itself was tidy and comfortable, just kinda all by itself. And they charge 20 dollars a day to park on top off the room fee? Seems like that should include that in the price already.

The breakfast available on Friday of our stay was terrible. Shouldn’t be able to advertise free breakfast when nothing except the eggs were available. No butter (person servicing the breakfast area said it was accidentally thrown away), no waffles or pancakes, no fruit, coffee pots empty until I complained, etc. the weekend was better, still not anything to get excited about. This hotel was expensive for what it offered.

Everyone was extremely friendly! So much so that we already booked our next room. Quick drive to downtown. Was really nice to have the extra space/kitchen. Room and bathroom were very clean.

Property lawn was overgrown somewhat. Bathroom had mold/ mildew growing on the upper edges of some surfaces. Toilet had incorrect seat attached (smaller size). Shampoo dispenser was broken off the wall and placed on ledge inside the shower. Breakfast provided was mediocre and ants seen on the counter.

I needed a help with finding my denture fell into the sink of my bedroom. Front desk was quick to get a plumber next morning and found it. However, when I unpacked my suitcase at my next stop hotel in Philadelphia, there were no purse and a pair of black dress shoes of my wife. She didn’t use them in Carlisle. I didn’t lock my suitcase while I was in Carlisle. Helpful front desk but suspicious room cleaner.

Quiet. Clean and very room spacious room! Kitchen had plates, glass mugs and even wine glasses. Pull out bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean. Rooms have their own thermostats which was great.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaner, ex. Dust on top of refrigerator, shower floor not clean. I didn't like being charged for parking that was never disclosed but showed up on my bill. The pool was closed all weekend and we were really looking forward to swimming as it was a hot weekend. I feel there should have been a discount for that as we were already paying over $1,000.00 for 3 nights because of the truck show which is ridiculous price gouging. The breakfast was the worst I have ever seen and we never even ate it, we walked away. The beds were hard as a rock and none of us could sleep comfortably. This used to be one of the nicer places to stay, but sadly not anymore.I'm going back to camping.

Pet friendly but expensive for what you get.

Property had been renovated and is in great condition. The hotel was pretty much fully booked. Price was competitive for such a nice place to stay. Until they zapped me with a pet fee. That hurts going in and out! NYC is half; Newport RI a third; Hampton half; Marriott are you kidding for dog: I doubt I’ll use Marriott again unless no other choice, plus your gardens are full of weeds and grass hasn’t been cut for a month.
