The staff was very nice and helpful :) The room was as advertised, very spacious and cleaned every day. Also, efficient laundry service. The location was excellent, right in the middle of old quarter and close to most landscapes you should visit. I feel we made a great choice staying at this hotel. Highly recommend! If we ever come back to Hanoi we will book this again.

Alles aan het Royal Palace Hotel was geweldig tijdens mijn verblijf in Hanoi. De locatie was perfect en op loopafstand van alles, de kamer was knus, schoon en comfortabel, en het personeel is gewoon schitterend en liet me me zo welkom en op mijn gemak voelen. We had an amazing stay at Ryal Palace hotel !! The location is great, near everything in the old quarter. What really made this hotel special was the service and attitude of the employees. Jimmi at the front desk was so incredibly friendly and helpful, and always had a smile on his face! Jennie from the activities desk helped us to book a last minute Halong Bay cruise and made sure everything went smoothly. She was so helpful and friendly as well. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Hanoi and will recommend to our friends & family.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno fantastico al Ryal Palace Hotel!! La posizione è ottima, vicino a tutto nel quartiere antico. Ciò che ha reso questo hotel davvero speciale è stato il servizio e l'atteggiamento dei dipendenti. Jimmi alla reception è stato incredibilmente cordiale e disponibile, e aveva sempre un sorriso sul volto! Completely Misleading Listing on Expedia Do not stay at this hotel. The Expedia listing is highly misleading, and there is absolutely no way this property qualifies as 4-star—2 stars at best. I strongly recommend reading the Google reviews before booking, as they reflect the reality far more accurately. Our so-called “premium” room was old, outdated, and in need of serious renovation. • WiFi barely works and constantly drops out • Furniture is worn, tired, and poorly maintained • The bathroom is in desperate need of refurbishing • Noise levels are unbearable—like trying to sleep in the middle of Times Square or Piccadilly Circus • The elevator only starts from the 2nd floor, making it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues We booked for several nights but ended up leaving after just one. Save yourself the hassle and choose another hotel. The hotel will also refuse to refund you for the nights booked, even if the room type /hotel is not as described on the Expedia website. Book at your own risk!
