Firstly, the good points. The hotel is in a great location, ideally situated for exploring the city and its attractions. The room we stopped in was excellent, very clean, comfortable, and with excellent facilities. Unfortunately that is where the good points end. My wife and I had one meal at the hotel, I ordered a simple pasta dish with pork medallions, my had a steak dish. My wifes meal was fine, my sadly was not. The pork came out practically raw, I sent the dish back, but not before I had eaten some pork (didn't see it wasn't cooked before it was too late, due to the sauce it came with). A short time later some more food came out, which looked ok, so I ate it. Big mistake, as a few hours later I was ill, and 48hrs later I still feel ill. The whole reason for travelling to Hannove was to take part in the marathon, this was not possible due to being so ill. I complained to the staff as soon as possible but my complaint wasn't really taken seriously by the staff. I was told to leave it with them while they investigated, which I did. I spoke with staff at the point of checking out, they didn't seem to think that there was any issue for which they had to answer for, no mention of any compensation of any description, no hint of an apology. I was left feeling like the whole situation was my fault. I have been left to chase up the complaint via emails as the staff couldn't be bothered to do anything for us whilst we were there.

Hotel is ok but not particularly good. Room fairly small and WiFi connection poor. Breakfast selection is limited and the same applies to the restaurant. Overall pretty basic... Near town hall but not much else

Good hotel with friendlybefficient staff but they push up their prices significantly and expect prepayment at exhibition times. Not value for money when there is an exhibition at the Messe. Good breakfasts Centarl located and with easy walking distance of the metro system Dinning room hardly use for dinner but lots ofvgood resturants near by.

Lovely little hotel. Typical Mercure Rooms so clean and comfortable. Personally, I would have liked better pillows but I’m really fussy! Like the modern reception area and bar. Staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast also a really great selection. Location is fabulous right in the heart of Hannover and within close walking distance to all of the main attractions. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent hotel with lovely friendly staff and nice buffet breakfast. We stayed for one night to visit Hannover Christmas market. We stayed in one of the privilege rooms which was huge and well equipped with nice quality toiletries including a toothbrush. The room was clean. However, I did notice a couple of holes in the sheets used to make up my daughters sofa bed. I would also say that it needed to be made more clear that in the privilege rooms the minibar is fee, a price list was still in the room making it confusing. The breakfast was lovely with a large choice. I would use the hotel again without hesitation.

This hotel offers a good standard of accommodation, close to the centre of Hanover. The staff are very welcoming and always helpful. Our only criticism was the overcrowded dining area at breakfast - we ate our breakfast on a low level table in the bar.

If you want a place to stay, that is easy and (more than) okay. This place’s the place to choose, park here and rest your shoes. Breakfast fine and comfortable bed, nice pillows to rest my head. Good whisky in the bar and no need for a car. Visit for some rest or for business - it’s the best!

First thing I noticed about this hotel when I walked towards the hotel from the U bahn (5 minutes walk) was the size of the hotel. The hotel seems to be modified from a classic old building and thus the entrance was from the side of the building. The rooms were spacious, and it had one door to enter from the hallway and one door separating the closet and bathroom from the bedroom. I had a big suitcase and I could basically put my suitcase on the floor while still being able to walk around the room without jumping over my suitcase. Breakfast was simply brilliant, as this is a small hotel (they only had one lift!) the breakfast hall was quiet and cozy. The staff were friendly and even offered to pick up some breakfast options for the guests. I recommend this hotel for a quick getaway, for a nice relaxing stay away from the crowds (especially on weekends)

Situated exactly in the centre of the city, the hotel is very easy to access. It has an underground parking lot (18€/day fee), the rooms are clean and modern. The bathrooms are clean also and the staff was great. I won’t rate it 5 stars because it was too expensive for what it had offered. Breakfast was included but I didn’t have time for it, that’s why I’m not gonna rate it whatsoever. Overall, a very good experience!

very nice hotel and friendly stuff - perfect location (walking distance from the old town and shopping area, lovely park starts at the door of the hotel) - will absolutely come back! (a little bit too expensive for the garage - but it is very convenient to be able to park in the garage)
