Hotel Luisenhof is a nice and fresh option amongst the super modern choices every city is too many. Very classical interior and wonderful soft bed! The best part of the hotel is the staff and their smile throughout the visit- recommended
Was fairly happy with the hotel - good central location (very close to the train station), decent room and modest price. There was a random tarpaulin on the floor at the end of the hallway which sort of looked like a discarded corpse, but other than that no complaints.
We stayed here for 4 nights, while visiting to lovely Christmas markets. We arrived slightly early, but our room, no 117, was ready for us.. we paid a little more for the larger room and was just about perfect... The niggles first... the double bed was two single mattresses joined, with two single quilts, not a major problem, as they were ever sooo comfortable... could not operate the large overhead shower, again, not really an issue, as we used the small hand held one, and also no tea and coffee tray...Then after day 3 we were locked out of the room, thay had us down we were leaving...but sorted in minutes However the positives out weighed the negatives by far. The hotel is classy, old style, not like some of the modern ones... Nice pleasant welcome by the front desk staff, very smooth check in. The room, which was just under £100 a night, was excellent, warm, comfortable, free soft drinks mini bar with peanuts and toblerone... free wifi. nice toiletries in the bathroom, and a shower that coUld fit 10 (not that we tried). Pleasant small bar area, and great service from the staff there. and lounge, with comfy sofas, but not too many place to relax, as there were conferences in, and areas designated for them. Excellent location, 5 mins from the station,on a quiet street, and handy for the shops and Christmas Markets
We booked this hotel because of its central location and because the reviews were generally positive. We stayed 3 nights recently in a Junior suite apartment and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in two buildings with the apartment styled accommodation in a separate but connected building. Our apartment was perfect - lovely sitting room , new and well equipped kitchen , bedroom and bathroom ( recently remodelled it seems - and one of the largest and most functional bathrooms we had in any hotel in Europe ). It is not a high luxury hotel , but nonetheless it is very polished , comfortable and full of charm. The staff were universally good , helpful and very engaged. We loved our stay here ( we were visiting friends now living in Hannover for the next few years ) - our friends visited us at the hotel and we have recommended it to them as a great place for all their visitors to stay. Highly recommended.
Checked into the hotel for one night stay. Was given the suite at level six which was a duplex, with the bedroom downstairs, living room and study upstairs with good view of the city. Room comes with shower room and a jacuzzi bathtub. As the study table is upstairs, there are no proper space at lower lever if you want to do work on your notebook. There are both gym (opens at 6am) and sauna at level 6. Although this is a fairly historical hotel, it is very modern and comfortable.
In a nice quiet area, with a bar giving on the street, this is a perfect place to stay, lovely spacious room, possibility to plug a harddisk in the tv, soft bed, nice breakfast...just the German quality for sure.... I will gladly come back next time :)
A five minute walk from the train station and subsequently ideal for a base for shopping and site seeing. I didn't use any of the F&B areas but the bedroom was excellent. I was a single traveller and therefore had a room for sole occupancy. It was more than adequate for a one / multi night stay. The only shame was that there was no view as it was an inner room, always a shame when you are a "tourist". Everything was immaculate, comfortable and I had one of the best night's sleep in a hotel, it was like being at home. The staff were very welcoming and very observant, always acknowledging people entering the hotel. I only wish I was there for more than one night on a family visit and hope to return in the near future - thank you to all the Team
I booked a "deluxe" room in this oldish hotel and found myself in the smallest room (#518) of the entire 5th floor - this at least according the the evacuation plan at the door. I wonder how the standard rooms look like... This hotel is very basic, so is was the small room. While the soft-drink minibar was included in the price, I did not feel comfortable in a room without a security chain. The tiny bathroom had an "open shower", which means that the floor easily becomes wet. For this "deluxe" I paid 156€ a night including breakfast. The breakfast itself was one of the worst I have seen in a presumably 5 star German hotel. The cold cuts were almost finished, I managed to get the last croissant and there was nothing of the normally abundant choice of a German hotel breakfast. Even worse, the personnel did not seem to care about me, because I was dressed "just" in jeans and perhaps did not look "rich", like any normal person on a Saturday. This hotel judges you according to your appearance. I should have shown them my diplomatic passport, I might have got a decent room and perhaps even polite service. Now I was for them just a "nobody", whom the "boss" at the breakfast hall did not even dare to say "good morning". This hotel has an 11 o'clock check-out policy. I will blame my secretary for booking this hotel, because I personally never support this policy. The hotel check-out time is and should remain (at least) at noon. Last but not least: I forgot my USB cable in my room. The hotel did not even bother to call me about it. After all I was just "nobody".
This is my favourite hotel in Hanover. Typical old German management every thing just very effecting. It has a fine Bar with a great resturant.the breakfast is outstanding. The beauty of this hotel is the location. Walking distance from the main retail way station, and in Center of town. It is wroth the money.
I stay here each time I am in Hannover, as I know it and it is very handy for the train station. It is expensive though, and although it is comfortable and friendly and helpful, I think that some of the rates are high for what you get; it is perhaps not as lavish as it appears or the bill suggests. Still my go-to place but the price will make me shop around a little bit next time I go to Hannover.
