if you step out of the main train station and into the plaza / square, the hotel is on your diagonal right, next to Galeria Kaufhof departmental store. All the shopping that you can do at this tiny German city is just 5mins walk away. The room is clean, and of a good size. I lost my luggage lock keys and the staff used a pair of small pliers to cut the lock for me, it was a great help. The free wifi is strong and good, streaming music is fine. The TV is a bit small and the BBC channel didn't work, so I was stuck with CNN. I have only complains about the bathroom. No tooth brush nor tooth paste, but they provide a small sewing kit and cotton pad which is odd, cos I believe more people will need toothbrushes more than sewing kits. "Toiletries" is actually a shampoo + shower 2-in-1 gel that you squeeze out from a plastic bottle mounted on the wall in the shower cubicle, which is ok, but the bottle was empty when I checked in, and had to ask the reception to get it filled. There is a gap between the glass door and the shower floor, hence water may splash out and wet the bathroom floor. The bathroom's radiator was not hot, at most lukewarm when turned to the highest number 5. And oh, no kettle, no complimentary coffee or tea but there is a bottle of water for free. They stopped charging 4 euros for the bottle of water in the room. Puffy soft pillows, the same type you see in most European hotels, so if you want a firmer one, bring your own. The hotel provides a free transport card, its just a piece of paper that has the dates of your stay. If you chance upon a conductor who checks your ticket, you just have to show him the card. No gantries, you don't need to tap in or out, the commuters buy their own tickets at a machine and its all based on trust.
I stayed at this hotel for the first time as two friends were also staying there. It is close to the Hautbahnhof so suited me as I have mobility issues. I was checked in most efficiently which was good as I was going out with a friend for a meal and it was quite late. The room was comfortable with a reasonable en suite; a walk-in shower as opposed to over the bath. Unfortunately, I had not made my requirements clear and my room was at the far end of the corridor from the lifts. My fault, not the hotel's. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. Unfortunately, when I returned to the hotel on the first night, I was unable to connect to the internet. The following morning a very helpful young man at reception was able to sort things for me. The buffet breakfast was adequate although I did feel it was a bit expensive at €15. I would compare this hotel favourably to a Premier Inn. Good service, clean and comfortable at a reasonable cost and would have no problems staying here again.
The hotel was a perfect stopover on our way to wernigorode. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. The location was perfect in the centre of Hannover near to the train station
Next to the central station , great if you visit the Messe , you also get a free travel card bonus saving , comfortable rooms , right in the heart of the shopping area with a few nice restaurants and many fast food places nearby ,breakfast is ample have had better at 4 star hotels !
Had a sleep for one nite there. The reception is under reconstruction, so you have to walk over the work area, be careful. The checkin was quick and polite. The use of the keycard to open the room was a bit tricky, and I needed several trials. The room has everything, a good matrass, a deposit box, windows, chair, desk, a gifted bottle od#f water. It was a bit used, but all ok. The bathr oom was clean and well heated. A good shower with enough water and temperature was also available. The breaky was in a nice room, but maybe at a wrong time. With three guys at the buffett, it is jammed and it is hard to move. From my point of view, the service (waiters, kitcheners) needs some instruction how to present food in a nice and appealing way. Rollmops side a side with fruit salad is it definitely not. And also the sliced ham was similar to a pressed brick of ham, maybe it was sliced early in the morning and could compact in the fridge ? Nevertheless, the breaky offers a lot of things that are great, milk, cereals, coffee, tea, fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cheese, buns, marmalade and so forth. If you like it near to the main station, this will be a good choice. Checkout was also quick and accurate.
Stayed here just for one night. Location is brilliant, right near the train station and Christmas markets. Checkin was quick and our room cosy but extremely clean. We had a mini bar in the room at reasonable prices. The bathroom was very clean with a great shower, toiletries and plenty towels. We would definitely stay here again.
Depending on what price you end up paying this hotel is somewhere in between average and very good. We got a good rate and hence the 'very good' rating. The hotel is clean and modern with good location in Hannover. There is no parking garage on the premises, but 200m away there is a good garage with video surveillance and reasonably priced. Many guests enjoyed sitting outside on the square outside the lobby. The train station is nearby and it only takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the center of the city. The hotel was generally quiet and had clean rooms. Staff was reserved (German) but very helpful. I'd stay here again.
I deciden to book this Hotel after reading good tripadvisor reviews however my experience was really bad. I was really dissappointed!! I Booker a room in the upper floor of the hotel- bussiness room- and the room was not properly clean, was full of dust. The wirst was the toilet, glasses had rests of something, I guess thoothpaste from previous guests. The toilet itself had also dirty from previous guest ( solid rests, do you know what I mean?) and tiles around toilet have liquid rests!!!
We arrived late as part of a group and stayed one night at this hotel en route to Poland by train. Very conveniently situated just a short walk from the main railway station we had a buffet dinner which was acceptable and an early breakfast which was OK but slightly down on German hotel standards even at this level. Our room (114) on the first floor overlooked a busy street and tended to be a little noisy even in the small hours of the morning. Facilities were cosy with an adequate shower, very small towels. The room had a brown carpet which tended to make it darker than it needed to be and the bed was comfortable. For a short overnight stay the hotel does a good job but I would tend to look for something else if we were staying any longer.
A well placed centrally located hotel a short walk from the main station in Hannover with very clean and well sized rooms. Great for anyone wanting comfort without breaking the bank. The staff are professional and polite enough the only thing I would say let's it down is that it feels very official perhaps a little less seriousness would make it feel more like a hotel where you can feel relaxed rather than a business. 9/10
