We booked a family room for 3 for 5 nights during Christmas. We felt the great service from the time we touched down Hangzhou late at night to the time we departed for the airport. We would like to thank the team who recommended good travelling tips, arranging day tour (and took the trouble to call back the tour agency when found out that we were not quite satisfied with that travel agency), helped us buy train tickets to Suzhou, arranging airport pickups and other car trips, served us great breakfast and cleaned up our room etc. The hotel design is modern and cozy; the room is spacious. A little complaint though is that if an extra bed can be added instead of using the sofa as bed for the 3rd person will be better. Nonetheless, we were impressed by the great service offered by the hotel and will definitely recommend to our friends when they visit Hangzhou.
Located in residential area with a row of bakery, fruit store, cafes on both sides. Very convenient. Can get taxi easily. Lobby, breakfast restaurant and rooms are subtly tastefully with good color co-ordination. Big screen above reception shows different seasons. Rooms a bit dark but OK. Breakfast interesting. Will stay here again. Do get address of hotel correct for the taxi/ cab driver because the front is not conspicuous.
It definately stands out for its great location, friendly staff and excellent service. The room was upscale and very clean. Extensive Asian and western breakfast buffet/set menue with hot and cold foods. The concierge and front desk staffs are very helpful and courteous. A charming boutique hotel. I would definately recommend it to my friends!
Hotel is very well maintained both in facilities side and service side. I stayed with my mum from 26 to 29 Sept 2017. The service, I have to mention, truely stand out!!!Checking was a pleasant experience and we were happy to meet Mr Jason whose friendly and smile warmed our arrival experience and throughtout our stay. He also willing to help us to booking the ticket of Romance of the Song Dynasty Show and give us many helpful advises. Also, Amanda in front desk also provided a good service. Much appreciated ELLA to cleaning our room. Everyone was so warm and friendly that I would to came back to this hotel.
I stayed with my parents from 21/8/17 to 26/8/17. The hotel front desk staffs were all very helpful and friendly. They were willing to go the extra mile, which I was very impressed and grateful for. The room which we stayed in was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely return to this hotel if I were to go back to Hangzhou for a holiday.
As a foreigner the hotel staff is of excellent help. I had a technical problem with my phone. The accompanied me to the repair shop in Saturday 7pm and stayed with me to make sure it was done. It took maybe 45min al together. Especially my phone is my indispensable translator to travel in China. Without it I could go home as it also my professional tool. And my compliments for the pleasant hotel and their staff for making my stay so relax and confortable. They are trained to be discrete and attentive to your needs. This is quite rare and not only in China. So if you look for place with high quality environment and service you go there your eyes shut.
The hotel itself is modern and nice but many details are overlooked -- for example, the sinks and bathtub in our room didn't seem to drain. The staff here is nice but not super competent; we are currently spending four hours in the train station and missing an important meeting because they told us we could get a standing ticket to Shanghai and that simply isn't true. Had we known, we would have taken a car or some other option. Instead we have missed a day of our trip and are spending it waiting around.
Clean, stylish, welcoming, hospitable, wonderful bathrooms, everything in the room were of high quality, wonderful staff who were willing to answer any of our questions, comfortable mattresses (the harder types) and the breakfast was really worth it... the buffet is good enough, need not order a la carte.
Nicely designed hotel (noticeably "inspired" by the Upper House in Hong Kong) and priced very reasonable but the elevator interior was a bit too quirky for me Nice amenities from Aromatherapy Associates Free mini bar (but some cookies and cashews or almonds would have been nice) Surprisingly good breakfast The restaurant offers a very limited menu but their Dongpo Pork set was pretty good for only RMB88 No spa and no pool (such a shame)
Ever detail - customer service, room service, amenities, bathroom, bed - was absolutely superb! What really stood out was the service. Ms. Ge (Amanda?) was very helpful pointing out the bus stops and which bus line to take to get around. She made sure we had a business card with all information to get back to the hotel in case we get lost. Everyday everything was replenished in our room; tea, coffee, soap, towels, etc. and the women cleaning our room were so friendly and courteous. The food we order from room service was delicious!! And priced very well. Location was fantastic - plenty of food, drink, fruit, pharmacy, etc. within a couple of blocks. Close to many transportation options. Taxis are cheap, but we prefer the local bus lines. This was truly the best hotel we have every stayed at in all our travels around the world. Highest recommendation!!!
