Went there for conference, booked suite room. I think it is best choice to choose the suite room. End up had a lot meetings in my suite room.coz the hotel cafe and lounge have all been booked or occupied during the conference time. Rooms with nice views , quite nice design of the space to separate the meeting area with your own sleeping area. I would highly recommend their suite if you travel for business. The food is quite good in their breakfast. A lot choices. But was ok in their garden restaurant although you still get a lot choices of the food. But it is not that kind WAH food for me. I didn’t try their sport center but seems they got a quite professional ones. Overall the hotel service is good, the staffs are quite proactive but it is too busy during the conference, the hotel lift and the front desk is lack of manpower to handle it. Ends up we have to wait 5 mins everytime for lifts because you won’t be able to get in for the first 2 lifts. I think maybe this is the point to improve to arrnage everything more smoothly. Around hotel is walking distance for food and massage. Highly recommend walk to YongJiu Road for a night walk and try their ZhengYuanYuan foot massage, very local but very good!
Superb room (was in a suite) with breaktaking views of the city. Great gym facilities and good restaurants. Breakfast was also excellent with diverse choices from Western and Chinese cuisines. Had a chance to try lots of different foods. Found the internet a little unreliable at times but never went off. Proximity to the Lakes and other attractions was also good. Thoroughly recommended
The hotels in China are wonderful!!! New Century is everything I like in a hotel..nice nice room, everything works, all the amenities, clean, safe, great staff beautiful lobby and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is incredible! Nice Nice!
Good: Beautiful lobby, big rooms. Bad: Lack of service, located more than 10 miles from heart of city with no restaurants or services nearby. The first impression of the hotel was very positive. Big, beautiful building lit up with moving multicolored lights and a lovely, large inviting lobby. Our room is large and everything seems great. We go downstairs to meet our friends for dinner and go to the hotel restaurant. We are told that it is booked for the night and can’t accommodate us. So we try the large buffet restaurant and find it is booked for a private event. With no restaurants near the hotel, we opt to make some instant noodles and have our dinner together at a large table downstairs. Once there, we are told we have to move across the lobby. We do. A few minutes later, we are told we can’t eat there either. Toughest place we have had trying to grab a bite to eat. We call it a night and head up to the room. The floor hasn't been cleaned - peanut shells laying around the carpeted floor. The bathroom is lovely, but getting hot water out of the shower is impossible. We settle for a “not cold” shower. This hotel could be a great stop, but it didn’t seem anyone really knew what was going on or how to communicate it with customers.
The hotel is located far from the city center but next to a metro station. It has several restaurants inside and the rooms are just great! We had a room in the 31st floor with a great view. Also no noise at all can be heard. The only problem is that the staff don't really speak english.
This was an amazing hotel with an outstanding breakfast buffet. Our room had a separate walk in shower and a separate room for the toilet. The bed was super comfortable and everything worked in the room!! This was the best hotel on our trip.
A real 5 * hotel. The check-in was quite easy since we were a group . The rooms are spacious . Buffet is excellent with nice choices , good fruits ; staff is helpfull . Close to nothing , a little bit scary to walk out at night .
This is an excellent hotel. We stayed there for three days. Whilst visiting my daughter who lives in this city. Highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are excellent and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely come back to this hotel on subsequent visits to Hangzhou.
Spacious clean room with decent breakfast buffet spread. Check out process was a little longer than I expect as it took staff a while to void the credit card deposit. Comfy bed with comfy pillows. Good for a night stay.
The hotel was very nice it had a very nice grand entrance and plenty of polished marble. The rooms were very quiet and the air conditioning worked very well I recommend going to this hotel in the future.
