My Dad just recovered from from flu so my family decided to go to Hangzhou for a family reunion. My Dad and I arrived a day earlier than the rest of family members. This is our first stay at this hotel and I was really worried about what we are expected and whether my family would like this property. Immediately entered into the lounge, we saw Elaine Chen, the Duty Manager, her charming smile and thoughtful conversation made us feel home. I was so released because I know I can count on this impeccable manager Mrs. Chen as well as her talented team members like Holla and Kella. Mrs. Chen well noted my Dad's age and arranged him in a room with a separate shower to avoid any slippery situation. She even pre-arranged rooms for my other family members, one of whom will be arriving a day later than booked. After all what we experienced, we were so happy to pay for a non-occupied room today. Final word to the Marriott Management team - you should be proud of your employees, you guys never disappoint me and my family. Because of your employees like Elaine, Holla and Kella, we will come back to this property for sure and we will be forever loyal to Marriott.

For price, location, and amenities this is a great spot to see Hangzhou from. Walking distance to West Lake and the scenic areas near it - XiXi wetlands are also near by. The hotel staff have been consistently polite and helpful the last few years; the food is good and the rooms and facilities well cared for (except the spa which has had some ups and downs in it's care). The highlight for me has been the Executive Lounge staff who I always look forward to seeing again when I come back. The turn over is fairly rapid as they tend to be interns but the training passed on to each new person has been handled well and they provide enthusiastic care to both the regulars and new faces as well. Tonight Angelica, Cliff, July, and Lucy did an excellent job taking care of me.

Stayed there one night last weekend and had an amazing stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. Jeffrey who worked as a concierge there, made sure we were well taken care off. The hotel was beautiful and in the perfect location near a bunch of restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious with all amenities necessary for a great stay. The breakfast was spectacular with a great mix of American and Chinese style items. The Dim Sums were outstanding! This is a very nice property with an awesome staff in an ideal location. I highly recommend staying there while in Hangzhou!

Hangzhou is a pleasant "town" to visit when you are traveling in China. We took a bus from Shanghai (Pudong) airport . Stayed at Courtyard Hangzhou Wulin. Excellent choice hotel is located in the centre of town, close to all shopping. From the moment we checked in to the hotel till our departure we had excellent service. At the check in we were suggested to join the executive club. (what a deal!) this include your buffet breakfast also gives you excess to the executive club on the top floor -afternoon tea, cocktail hours including free drinks and different snacks and patisseries. Several hostesses are to serve you ( I think they are management trainees) we had Celine as our hostess , her English is very good and gave us plenty of information on the hotel, also made a very good gin fizz. The hotel rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. Next door at the J.W. Marriott has an excellent buffet dinner . (the two hotels are connected by a revolving door. I would definitely recommend the Courtyard to anyone traveling to Hangzhou

Stayed there for a recent business trip for 10 nights. The hotel is very clean and a great location, walking distance from the Metro. Get the package with breakfast, many choices and offers "western" options in case you get homesick. Will stay there again when i return to Hangzhou

The location of the Courtyard couldn't be better, just 3 blocks from the airport bus station, walking distance from Wulin Square and West Lake. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable and truly helped make for a pleasant stay. The room is comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. This is a great location for the exploration of Hangzhou and I'll stay here again the next time I'm in town.

In many ways this is a standard 4-star business hotel. Rooms are a decent size but the decor is quite boring and already looks dated. I was quite surprised that my 'premier' room didn't have a bathtub too. What I loved, though, was the service culture at this hotel. My wife and I genuinely lost count of the number of smiles, hellos and good mornings that we received in our two-day stay. This was especially noticeable at breakfast time, where Tony and his team are doing a great job. Even though the buffet is a bit chaotic, and serving staff are all very young, I felt really welcome each morning. So well done Courtyard, and keep it up!

Hello, now I am staying since 25.Sep. While my staying, I have to buy some medicine in taobao(china portal site), but I could not because I am foreigner, I have no china bank account, having only cash. But executive lounge staff helped me, she buy it instead of me and I gave her cash. I was really nice favor to me, she was an angel to me. Thank you Ms.Angelica and thank you courtyard wulin executive staff, all.

My views are after considering 850 CNY per night including the lounge access. Unless you enter through the JW Marriot first impression of this hotel at lobby is not good in fact it looks like a budget hotels. Staff are very very courteous and extremely helpful. Especially the folks at concergie desk and lounge are worth noting here for their professional conduct n hospitality. I'm not sure where courtyard fits into - budget versus three star versus five Star, but at 800 it is not worth. With very small lobby wrong for launch need to be shared with JW Marriot which is in fact very good though. Rooms are comparatively small with all basic essentials anyway . But the beauty of the hotel is the location, which is close to Wulin square and many shopping areas. This was my first stay with courtyard and I am happy with the hospitality but not with the price. Restaurant is not a good option with very limited options to choose.

Good service and well-maintained rooms under the Courtyard by Marriott branding in a location is a brisk 30 minute walk to the north-eastern edge of the renowned West Lake. And the walk is not boring as there are a lot of shops along the Wulin Road Commercial Street. It is also near the Wulin Square Metro Station for easy access, The Grand Canal and the Hangzhou Tower Shopping Mall. To get to the Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport you can just take an Airport Bus Service with a bus stop that is under 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
