Le sultan is a lovely hotel where the service is first class. The family rooms are well laid out, practical and comfortable. The whole place is very clean. I am sure one could nit pick but for holiday it is well more than adequate. The buffet restaurant is well run and the food attractive and tasty. The restaurant manager is a lovely guy and very helpful. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The only downside we found was that the entertainment for children was a bit limited but I am sure in high season this would be ok. Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay.
The hotel looks great only because of how its renovated. Otherwise its not very child friendly and the food is awful. They only cater for the tunisian, same food everyday. They have no snack bars so if you miss lunch all your getting is a sandwich with cheese or a small cake. We went hungry quite a few times. Its located in a deserted place where they are hardly many shops. Its my first snd last time visiting tunisia.
A definite family hotel that won our hearts as soon as we entered. We were well looked after from cleaners to life guards. Staff are friendly, the place is always impeccably clean. The rooms were comfortable, the food as we were fully inclusive was delicious and they had different world cuisine every night, we never got bored. There is nothing to fault but the unpredictable weather nevertheless the kids manage to stay in the indoor pool. The snack bar with its delicious crepe by Ale kept us going. We didn’t wanna leave the hotel to go for excursions as the hotel was equipped with different activities, kids club, mini golf, horse riding different entertainment every day. Most importantly the kids loved it and didn’t want to leave. I want to thanks a few people from the hotel receptionist to the head chef. Don’t go on the negative reviews check out the photos and this is far the best hotel in Hammamet the beach is only few steps away. The pictures speak for itself can’t wait to comeback again. We all need to move past what happened here few years back and enjoy the beauty of Tunisia. Tunisia is definitely the new Turkey on the rise!!!
Gorgeous view, great pools, rooms and common areas are very clean. For families there is mini-golf, a playground and a playcare where they do crafts and activities. Animation in the evenings is dynamic and the kids get into it. Great indoor pool, large enough although the change rooms are small I think they expect you will go to your room to change. I would have liked that at least one line be set aside for lane swimmers. The food is good. I do not appreciate that water is not included at dinner. I think a minimum of 1 bottle for 2 people should be part of the meal. Drinks are available at breakfast though. We had the half-board option. Rooms are a good size. They have a nice room for a family of 5 that is almost a suite. Not always available though. The one thing that is too bad is there is no beachfront. It is rocky. You can walk left to a small beach or right to a larger beach. It works, it would just be nice to be able to sit at the hotel while the kids play on the sand. Recommend and will be back.
The hotel had good room, good food, and good beach, however, the room we got was noisy, we couldn't sleep, the mini fridge was empty, the coffee tests bad, and they were racist in not allowing porkini in the swimming pool. If we visit Hammamet again we will definitely not visit them again.
Just returned from a two week stay here. A lovely hotel which is perfectly located on the coast with amazing views. Hotel staff were fantastic, very warm and welcoming. Was particularly impressed by the food available at the all inclusive. Granted it got a bit repetitive but the quality was good and caters for all tastes. My only gripes about the hotel were that the WiFi was unreliable, signal was best in reception but very hit and miss from my room. And the gym equipment was in need of updating. All in all I had a really good stay and would definitely return.
I was very satisfied with the service provided in this hotel, one of the best in the region. The food was amazingly good . What i adored really was the entertaiment team . They were really polite and smily all the time and the entertaiment program was very rich and colourful, full of surprises. I loved the karaoke nights. However the wifi in the rooms ans the bar was so slow.
We travelled with our 2 year old granddaughter and was abit wary after never visitin tunisia before, we had no need from the minute of arrivin at the hotel which was very quiet all our needs were met. The staff are all fantastic and work very hard from the front of desk to the cleaners, the food was varied but we always got something to eat, a big shout out to tarek think thats how you spell it for the fuss he made of poppy in the restaurant. The animation team always made a massive fuss of her aswell . I would deffo recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thankyou all for makin r poppys first ever holiday abroad 1 for her to remember.
The hotel is beautiful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The communal areas are spotlessly clean. The gardens and outdoor pool are well maintained. Indoor pool is clean but the changing rooms only have 1 toilet and 1 shower in each which is inadequate during busy periods. The beach was covered in rubbish when we first arrived and they started tidying it after we’d been there a couple of days. The room was very clean, maid was helpful and the heating worked very well (we had unseasonably cold weather for the whole week we spent there). Tea and coffee facilities in the room but no milk, I had to take milk from breakfast and put it in the fridge in the room. Also only 1 small bottle of water was placed in the room each day, any more had to be taken up from the bar. (They would only supply small bottles of water to all-inclusive guests, they had larger bottles but these were for “paying guests”.) So we found ourselves carrying water and milk upstairs to our rooms. The standard of the food really spoilt the holiday. Poor quality meat, poultry and fish dishes which were served day after day. Food left from dinner was disguised, renamed and served the following lunchtime. Nothing was hot, even if you went in as soon as the restaurant opened it was only lukewarm. The only fresh fruit availabile was apples, oranges and dates and to be honest I’ve thrown better on the compost heap. The dessert selection was also very poor, custard flan with banana, custard flan with apple, custard flan. Creme caramel, tiny slices of sponge cake and ice cream. You couldn’t get a pot of tea or coffee with your breakfast, had to keep going to a machine which supplied 1 cup at a time (they bought tea in soup dishes when we asked for pots). Tea in a pot was served in the bar but yet again the drinks were never HOT! I don’t drink so cannot comment of the quality of the alcoholic drinks. All in all the hotel was lovely but the poor quality food ruined our stay.
