The hotel is beautiful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The communal areas are spotlessly clean. The gardens and outdoor pool are well maintained. Indoor pool is clean but the changing rooms only have 1 toilet and 1 shower in each which is inadequate during busy periods. The beach was covered in rubbish when we first arrived and they started tidying it after we’d been there a couple of days. The room was very clean, maid was helpful and the heating worked very well (we had unseasonably cold weather for the whole week we spent there). Tea and coffee facilities in the room but no milk, I had to take milk from breakfast and put it in the fridge in the room. Also only 1 small bottle of water was placed in the room each day, any more had to be taken up from the bar. (They would only supply small bottles of water to all-inclusive guests, they had larger bottles but these were for “paying guests”.) So we found ourselves carrying water and milk upstairs to our rooms. The standard of the food really spoilt the holiday. Poor quality meat, poultry and fish dishes which were served day after day. Food left from dinner was disguised, renamed and served the following lunchtime. Nothing was hot, even if you went in as soon as the restaurant opened it was only lukewarm. The only fresh fruit availabile was apples, oranges and dates and to be honest I’ve thrown better on the compost heap. The dessert selection was also very poor, custard flan with banana, custard flan with apple, custard flan. Creme caramel, tiny slices of sponge cake and ice cream. You couldn’t get a pot of tea or coffee with your breakfast, had to keep going to a machine which supplied 1 cup at a time (they bought tea in soup dishes when we asked for pots). Tea in a pot was served in the bar but yet again the drinks were never HOT! I don’t drink so cannot comment of the quality of the alcoholic drinks. All in all the hotel was lovely but the poor quality food ruined our stay.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great food and service. Clean rooms. Great place for relaxing. No cons about this hotel. Don't forget to get a room with sea view. Believe you won't regret your trip
Same good quality after some years. It is good to realize that some good things can remain the same. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is large and delicious : even when you have a plane to catch early in the morning, they let you grab something before the opening hours. This hotel deserves a visit as you deserve to relax sometime !
This is my first visit to this hotel, the front desk agent's warm welcome, spacious and comfortable room and very calm, delicious food, a good investment on the staff, friendly, enthusiasm. I strongly advise for families.
this is the first time I choose this hotel, I was very satisfied, no remark, all is well studied, a paradise, believe me I can not forget this experience, a beautiful place on one of the best coasts of the Mediterranean, a warm welcome, spacious and very clean rooms, friendly staff smiling and helpful, beautiful beach, 2 pools one is covered with Jacuzzi, SPA, entertainment program is very rich, sports session, archery , games of arrows, ping pong, ... (special message to the host hazem, thank you), dining room is very spacious, very rich menu, qualified chefs offer delicious dishes ,.. I advise you , personally I will come back , congratulation sultan .
One Star for the Staff and One Star for the Sea, the rest doesn't justify the prices. The location is quite, the sea is fantastic, and the hotel offer several activities for kids. We were welcomed by great staff, from the doormen to the receptionists, the lobby looked very modern and a piano player completed this exceptional welcome, giving all this, our expectations were really high. We quickly were disappointed... We booked a Superior Double and got a Superior Twin Room :( they said all double rooms were occupied even though we requested it clearly and specifically since booking. They offered us to change room after the third night, but never called back to confirm. The room had an amazing view over the pool and the sea, but was small, the bathroom is outdated and even destroyed (no shelves, destroyed flush, holes everywhere in the tiles, extra small sink - room 217, management can check if I am exaggerating). We appreciated the free water bottles, but it was only for checkin.. Okay... But the mini-fridge was kept empty for the rest of our stay, which means that each time we wanted some water, we had to request it from room service which charges double than anywhere else in the hotel (and 14 -fourteen- times more than the actual water price...), it's not about the money, but when you pay that much you don't expect to wait or to call in order to get some water or to even to make any effort for such an obvious need, it should be easy accessible (it's not a business hotel, people are there to relax, not to make their life difficult). We took half-board option, breakfast was okay, and quality was good too, but dinner was just food, nothing more, same dishes every night, and really low quality (freshness is okay) but again it's all about balance... when you pay that much you expect higher quality, so I recommend to avoid the half-board option, you'd have better dining options outside the hotel. Even the Sakura restaurants wasn't really japanese, so it's not an option neither. We tried the spa twice, the steam room was spotless, and the personnel was nice. To finish in a positive note : amazing sea ! and very friendly personnel ! This is the only reason I rated 2/5 otherwise it would be lower. (btw: we never saw the piano player again after the checkin)
Rooms are full of dust! You must beg for every single item, bathrobe..toothpaste and all other items that should be in the room! The photo below is my bed !! And that was after I specifically called to ask for good cleaning
Nice little beach nearby. The grounds and pools are unsubstantial considering the size of the hotel. Rooms are ok but tv didn't work. The night room service menu looks ok but they won't serve anything on the menu except for stale sandwiches. Restaurants are awful. Grumpy staff, you have to buy water, waiters wear security guard uniforms and can be intimidating and unfriendly. The food is really poor although there is a wide selection of rubbish. No cafes open in the area for most of the day. I was there for two days as I was working nearby. I can't imagine trying to do a week holiday there.
The hotel is overall really great. The staff is super friendly and respectful. The food is multicultural so this makes it pleasing for everyone. The people who serve the food are also really friendly. The waiters are respectful and fast. There is enough animation throughout your stay, there is always something to do. Also there is enough space around the swimming area and the private beach is very relaxing. Hygiene is great and the rooms are all excellent. I will definely come back next vacation. Special thanks to Malek, Saif and Seif.
We are a mature couple and have been staying here for over 10 years now. It is always perfect, never a complaint to be made. Now with nice new touches to the buffets, breakfast now offers freshly made Waffles and fresh squeezed juice, and more Seafood to the evening meal, was much appreciated. As always traditional 'local' food can be found on all buffets. The staff is always professional, kind and helpful and smiling no matter how hard a day they may of had.For families with children I noticed they had many activities during the day and even at night making sure everyone enjoys their stay. It is our go to place when visiting Hammamet. Can't wait for next years visit!
