Great staff as always. I guess I've never stayed during the non summer months. The room was like an oven that has no escape. We were given a fan so that helped blow the hot air around. I would imagine this to be somewhat like a convection oven instead of a normal oven. She just getting really hot really fast and stay hot as opposed to taking longer to heat up like a normal oven. I was told that the AC system had not been turned on yet, and the windows do not open. I was on the third floor this stay. So this is like a bargain basement type of hotel on the (close to) waterfront? As previously mentioned, the staff is always great here. Moving forward I'll definitely be staying at properties that I the client can adjust the temperature of my suite.

Poorly managed. 1. The hot water was only enough for one shower. 2. The air conditioning was not available due to not yet switch to summer mode and no fan was provided. 3. For four adult stay only three sets of bathing towels and two sets of hand towels were provided in the bathroom. 4. The bathroom was not properly cleanup and made ready for use.

Great hotel, just needs some minor adjustments
We could not get the heat to turn down, it was always about 80 in our room. Knowing how booked the hotel was for the eclipse we stuck it out and with the bathroom fan on it was tolerable. Also the mattress sunk in the middle but again due to the large booking we didn't want to burden the staff in the middle of the mess.

It's a meh hotel, smells like chlorine from the pool when you enter the hotel and in the halls. Wallpaper peeling, toilet seat and shower are stained yellow. The workers are nice but you're certainly just staying here to sleep and move on.

Husband and I booked a stay just for the eclipse. First impressions walking in the door - a showstopper of a staircase. Check-in was friendly, informative and efficient. Exiting the elevator the first thing I noticed was a musty, old smell. The ice machine room reeked badly of mold, no way I was using any ice. Fortunately the room smelled cleaner. Unfortunately, the room was uncomfortably hot as management hadn't switched over to AC for the season yet. Windows do not open. We were fortunate enough to secure a fan from the front desk and were somewhat able to sleep - it was still too hot in the room even for a sheet. Beds weren't terrible but also weren't great. Bathroom had an ancient jacuzzi with green corrosion visible on the jet nozzles (ew!), and an awkwardly tiny triangular shower stall. Room decor was dated and shabby. Desperately needs updating; quite obvious owners are just riding it out until demolition, judging by the zoning variance sign. Restaurant was just ok. Service was great; food not so much - wings tasted frozen & microwave defrosted. Nacho special was carefully prepared but unfortunately oversalted. The wifi was beyond terrible & dropped frequently. Best download speedtest was 6.44 mbps and worst was 1.51. Pretty much unusable and my LTE didn't work inside the room. Hotel also ran out of hot water on Monday morning. TV selection was basic cable, no option for any streaming.

The hotel is old and humid - not a great combination. There was no climate control in our room, turning the fan to high and the temp to cooler had minimal effect and only pumped tepid moist air out. The night seemed to get warmer rather than cooler. There was no hot water in the morning, none at all. The fixtures are all old and damaged, the toilet seats a grizzly yellow, the headboards chipped and broken, the pillows seemingly filled with cotton balls. If you are looking to know what it would be like to stay in the first season of True Detective, this hotel might be for you.

We were told that breakfast is available on weekends, so we booked on weekend. However, there was no prior intimation and upon calling in the morning we were told that breakfast was not available. The issue was noted and the manager was supposed to get back however there was no call back.
