Sheraton Hamilton Hotel

Hotel is tired and dated. Hotel street appearance is dull and when you add the homeless folks hanging around it crushes the first impression. Lobby is confining and dark. Carpeting in rooms and hallways is worn thin. Beds were too soft, cable TV felt like I'd slipped back into 1994, no HDTV, Really? Food in 17th floor lounge was ok...coffee however was excellent! And staff were nice and accommodating.

Excellent all around. Great place to stay, great location.

Good hotel with excellent location, but noisy. Accoustics need an upgrade. Hotelnstaff, however, is excellent!

We arrived, checked in and on the way to the room we had to walk through 20 kids playing in the halls on our floor. A lady was sitting in a chair out in the hall monitoring them. Several men walked through the hall and everyone knew who they were and were greeting them. A half dozen doors were open and the kids were running in and out...trash all over the floor in the hallway. We got into our room and after cleaning up for a while we left to go to dinner and a different group of kids were playing in the halls on the other end of the hall and another lady was sitting in the hall in a chair monitoring the kids. The elevators were all having trouble - first the one coming from the underground parking and then a different elevator going up to the room. We were directed to the service elevator and that took 10 minutes to come...

Right downtown with indoor access to a large mall, this hotel deserves it's 4-star rating. The different employees we dealt with were all kind and efficient. We lucked out because we were upgraded, so we got good value for our money. The warm temperature of the pool was wonderful. Normally we would have to pay for internet access, which I found surprising for a hotel of this calibre, but there is a Starbucks beside the hotel where one could get connected free of charge.

Very nice hotel, very clean. The only thing was the restaurant was really slow to serve you and expensive.

enjoyed our stay again. beds are grate and so are the staff. will be back again

Good location, cheap parking, helpful staff, comfy beds. Lots of bars close but not too close. The best beef shwarma is just around the block!

Loved, loved the room! the view was awesome for the short time we were there. The staff at the front desk was very pleasant. Wish we had more time to enjoy the City of Hamilton, but when we return , and we will, looking forward to getting the same view. The king size bed was prefect.....needed a microwave and small refrig....for the wine and late night snacks! But we had a great time anyway...

Everything was as advertised. Room was nice and location was great. Got what we paid for.

Perfect location for a girls night out - Hess is within walking distance, and was exactly what the girls were looking for - a pool, a great bar, great location, eats near by, and underground parking!

General appearance nice, although in need of some updates - carpet worn in some areas, wallpaper scuffed, etc. Comfortable room, nice bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

the roooom was pretty big and the location was great if you're looking to party. its a nice quiet place with a club inside the hotel.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night so didn't do much there but sleep. We checked in late and went straight to bed and then left early the next morning. The only thing I noticed was that it wasn't that clean in the hallways. The beds and room were nice, it was just the hallways that were not that clean. We were also by the ice machine and I could hear the noise through the door.

This hotel offered a quiet well kept and professional place for a business person to either conduct a meeting or unwind after a long day out on business. The family friend pool, staff, and location was also beneficial. For those traveling to Canada and desire to see the falls...It was an easy ride and the directions provided by the staff were great!! The hotel also surpised us by being attached to a mall. Various shops and restaurants made this hotel an easy choice for our next visit!!
