This peaceful lakefront cottage offers a relaxing escape overlooking Lake Erie, complete with beautiful sunset views, a private hot tub, and a spacious deck for slow mornings and cozy evenings. The home is immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and set up to make guests feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
Indoor Living
The bright, welcoming living area features comfortable seating, soft lighting, and a fireplace for quiet nights indoors. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light and frame the lake beautifully.
The fully equipped kitchen is clearly organized and well stocked, making meal prep simple whether you’re cooking for two or for the whole group.
The cottage sleeps six guests between two bedrooms and a loft. Each space is furnished with comfortable beds, soft linens, and calming décor. The bathroom is spacious and well maintained, offering plenty of room for everyone.
Outdoor Living
The outdoor space is a highlight. The large lakeside deck includes Muskoka chairs for lounging, reading, or watching the water. The private hot tub sits just steps from the shoreline and is a favourite spot for sunsets and stargazing.
A firepit near the water offers a cozy place to gather in the evenings and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Guest Access
Guests have full use of the cottage, deck, hot tub, and yard, as well as a private four-car driveway with space for vehicles, trailers, and recreational equipment. Self check-in is easy with a unique door code provided before arrival.
Location
Located on historic Hoover Point in Selkirk, the cottage sits in a quiet, friendly lakeside community known for its relaxed pace. The area offers scenic gravel roads, lake breezes, and a peaceful atmosphere that guests love.
Within 30 minutes, you’ll find restaurants, wineries, beaches, trails, golf, fishing, motorsports, and cultural attractions. Essentials such as groceries, gas, and a general store are available within a few minutes. Dunnville, Cayuga, Port Dover, and Simcoe are all a short drive away.
Getting Around
The property is approximately 1.5 hours from the GTA, Buffalo, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, and London. A car is recommended. Lakeshore Road offers a scenic route for walking, biking, or taking a relaxed coastal drive. Guests can enjoy 15% off bike rentals—inquire for details.
Things to Know
Lake levels and beach conditions change with the season.
As with any lakefront setting, outdoor insects may appear in warmer months.
The cottage uses a cistern and septic system—please use water mindfully and flush toilet paper only.
Lake Erie may occasionally carry a natural algae smell depending on the season.
Pets are welcome with prior approval and must remain on the property.
Water activities are at guests’ own risk; children must be supervised at all times near the shoreline.

Check-in is after 4:00pm and check-out is by 11:00am. These times are strictly enforced out of respect for our cleaning team. A $100 fee applies to any unapproved early check-in or late check-out.
Water is limited at the cottage as we are on a cistern, so please be mindful of how much you use during your stay.
Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am.
Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Pets require prior approval before booking.
Smoking and vaping are allowed outdoors only, on the driveway and at least 10 feet from all decks and buildings. All indoor spaces are strictly non-smoking.
Please follow the garbage, septic, and water guidelines outlined in the cottage binder.
Do not enter neighbouring properties. There is no fence, so please keep pets and children within our boundaries.
