Resting in Hakodate

Finding the hotel Ekimane involved asking the tourism information centre. They pointed to the name that is now only in Japanese script. But that said it is literally 500m away from the train station exit. So really hard not to find. The place is clean, and friendly. With recommendations made at the start for the onsen. A welcoming place for strangers and foreigners.

Convenient hotel

The hotel is located near to the Hakodate JR station. So it is a very convenient hotel for those who travel using JR. There is a small grocery shop downstairs. Generally the room is very clean. However it is a little cramp for 3 persons with big luggage bags. It will be good if the hotel provides extra pillow. Generally I would recommend this hotel.

nice traditional hotel

good hotel location. just next to the hakodate station there is a convenience store jsut downstairs staff does not speak english but that is fine as we book through expedia, check in and check out is still smooth we book traditional room, it was small but it was a nice experience we will surely stay here again if we come to hakodate
