Nice and modern. The rooms and onsen is a bit smallish but it was a nice mix of modern and traditional, and still comfortable. The breakfast buffet is pretty good to get as it has a variety of Hakodate/Hokkaido food. I would go and stay there again.

駅から近く大変便利です。お部屋も広く気持ちが良いですが、受付の方があまり観光に詳しくなく、更に紹介されたレストランが最悪でした。後で他で聞いたところこれはホテルの所為ではなくレストラン側のマーケティングの結果らしいですが観光する側としてはとても残念な限りです。

The staff was great and really responsive. They were also really patient as I had to use Google Translate to communicate, so really appreciated that as well. My room overall was clean, though the decor and furnishings are somewhat dated and showed some wear. For example, there were some loose threads in the carpet and random dirty spots on the curtains. Overall, not a huge deal. The only exception to cleanliness was the bathroom. The first room I checked into, the bathroom smelled awful, like dried urine. I noticed what looked like spots of dried urine on the floor and initially thought they were old stains that didn't come out. I still attempted to wipe the floor...and the stains came out. Which means, the floor wasn't mopped. Gross. I went to complain to the front desk staff, and they were incredibly apologetic and moved me to another room, which I greatly appreciated. In the new room, the toilet was separate from the rest of the bathroom and had a door. Problem was...that toilet room also smelled like dried urine. It was so bad that I had to ensure the door was closed the entire time or the odor permeated the rest of the room. Other than that, my stay was pleasant & location was great. Also, note that you will have to call to the front desk to come up to open your window for you — there's no way to open it yourself.

Good hotel near Hakodate train station. It was very convenient to move around, there are some restaurants nearby. Big plus was the convenience store downstairs. The hotel room was spacious with good views to the harbor

We stayed one night coming in from Jozankei Sapporo going to Tokyo . It was literally to the left of the Hakodate train station . 10 min walk to fish market and 5 min bus ride to Hakodate mountain cable cars . Near restaurants . Buffet breakfast was outstanding !!! The onsen was amazing !! It is not tattoo friendly and is connected to the golds gym so it does get crowded even at super late hours 11pm . You get free popsicle inside onsen area as well . My son went into the men side and it was quite busy as well . Traditional tatami room , futon on ground with tiny elevation . Enough space for 3 suitcase and bags . We had 3 person bed set up . Would stay again !
