The property grounds were beautiful and serene. We were so happy we chose this place outside the hustle and bustle of Hilo. The trip into Hilo was about 20 minutes, but the drive was beautiful and worth the peacefulness of the property. There were many sites to see within a few miles, such as Akaka falls and the Botanical Gardens.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very nice, spotless, and well maintained. You can really tell the host puts a lot of care into the home. On top of that, the owner is an incredibly kind person who has adopted disabled cats — which honestly made the experience even more special. Such a big heart and genuine hospitality. This was a perfect place to stay. The host couple are incredibly kind and caring. You can tell they truly put their heart into taking care of the whole property. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything was well prepared — TV, microwave, coffee, towels, extra blankets — all thoughtfully provided. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Occasionally, their rescued little cats would stop by to say hello, which made the stay even more special. This is definitely a place I would come back to again.

Wonderful host, clean room and grounds - pretty ocean view with lots of bird species to watch from the patio. Very easy check-in and fantastic communication with the host. Fresh fruit and homemade cookies too! We would definitely come back and recommend it to other travelers.
