Family friendly. Overall great property for a quick beach weekend for the family. Staff is really nice and the people on the beach are very laid back. Two downsides -1. the doors are really loud so if your kid is light sleeper you may be in for an early morning. 2. If you have a city view with a balcony then the designated smoking area is right below you. We couldn’t enjoy our balcony at all- two of us have asthma :( .

There were a couple of issues with the bathroom plumbing. The sink did not always have hot water. It was spotty - sometimes just would not warm up. And the bath/shower did not drain properly. Taking a shower meant standing in water up to my ankles. Room 514.

The 2 things that shined out about this property....but only 2. The staff who were friendly and helpful and the access to the beach. Now where do i begin. First off at 130 in the morning my wife found 2 german roaches in the bathroom. We called desk to ask for bug spray which the young man promptly brought to the room. He didnt change rooms because it was late and we thought it was a random thing. He said if we wanted they could do it in the morning. I saw the maintenance man and told him about the roaches and asked if he could spray it well while we were out for the day. Well i don to ow whether it was sprayed or not. When we came back to our room in the evening, they didnt even clean our room. Now we fully wanted and expected our room to be cleaned. So once again called front desk and they could only provide fresh towels at that time. Day 3 of our trip and they came into the room at 830 to clean and we weren't even up yet. Then they called about 10 and asked if we still wanted our room clean and of course we did. Saw another baby roach in the bathroom. I asked for a little comp to make my wife feel better about her freaking out on the roaches. I wanted a cabana they have at the pool, but they would not do that. They offered 2 chairs and an umbrella at the beach. We took that and headed to the beach. We came back and started packing to leave. I got up this morning and saw another roach crawling on the bed i just got out of. Gross Worst Holiday Inn experience ever!!!!

Staff was super helpful any time we needed anything. Breakfast was pretty good, but can't really complain about free continental breakfast with hot options. The private beach access was great and the option to rent an umbrella and beach loungers was convenient and fairly priced. Overall we had a nice stay and would stay again!

The pool was dirty, with a layer of grim and who knows what around the entire thing. Once I noticed it I didn’t go in again. The food was bland and the drinks were watered down and over priced. The hotel was very noisy and most of the staff were rude. I usually love holiday inn expresses but this was a disappointment

Great employees, but won’t stay here again.

Need room service. Shouldn’t have to rent umbrella and chairs for beach. Need more food options on site. People come and stay where it’s convenient and less hassle. People on vacation don’t want to put in effort for relaxing and enjoyment. The bar by the pool isn’t “swim up bar”, the attendant for the towels was never on time. People should be able to do what the job requires to perfection.
