Gret service Good food Nice staff speak English well

Very good choice for business travelers. Great spa and gym.

It's a nice, elegant hotel a little to serious in their design don't have the exact word but not a place that makes you think vacation wise!!! Overall its nice and comfortable but there is something missing, maybe the pool area make it more tropical or something like that!!!

This hotel is very comfortable and has all the conveniences you would want, especially as an international traveler. Prices are very reasonable, especially for services and food, though these things are typically inexpensive in Ecuador. Only challenge was the room was a little mildewy, though this is common in tropical countries. Will definitely stay there again.

The stay was great. The only issue is we did not know we had to reserve the pick up at the airport.

Stayed two nights on arrival before going to Galapagos and one before departure to go home. Hotel was very nice, bed was very comfortable, & buffet breakfast very good. Had hamburger instead of buffet for lunch and it was delicious. Afternoon tea one day was very nice and reasonably priced. Shopping in hotel was high end with very nice things to look at. Staff was very nice and went out of their way to assist us.

Excellent service, very nice people and excellent restaurants

Nice place to relax before/after a trip to the Galapagos. Room was average, bed was wonderful, outdoor pool and spa was great. Area around the hotel seemed unsafe, but the hotel itself was fine.

Considering that this was the most expensive hotel in Ecuador within 10 minutes of the airport (without traffic) and has armed guards, it was really average. The temperature in the fitness center was about 15 degrees higher than in the lobby and when I mentioned, in halting Spanish, that it could be the same temperature (or less) than the lobby, everyone laughed. Apparently that was a funny suggestion.. Also, the big guy near the elevator who said "come here" did not inspire confidence as much as remind me of one of Tony Soprano's minor hirelings. But my major complaint, after spending a significant amount of time in Ecuador and latin america, was that there was one guy working at the reception desk. This is typical in low and mid-range motels, but in an American hotel charges the same rate as in the U.S., there is no excuse for making guests stand around waiting for 30 minutes while six other employees ("it's not my job") don't help. At least shunt them to a back room rather than have them mock the guests.
