The hotel is beatyful
location its grate, clean and safe
The parking situation is confusing. The signs for 15 minutes parking are too small and in the side (not obvious), checking is on the 6th floor and there is no one to ask what one is supposed to do with the vehicle while moving luggage, children, etc and not cause a traffic jam by the hotel’s door. Other than that, the hotel is beautiful, clean, modern and it’s location is fantastic.
We stayed 3 nights and it was good for what we needed. We were able to eat out late with no worries. Not too late though, as many restaurants and shops closed at 9 pm or 10 pm.
What I liked? is the surrounding areas that are safe and kid-friendly. In a sense that it's like a private world within Guatemala City. What I didnt like is getting to and out of it. The traffic is overwhelming. We used an app (not giving free advertisement) ) for maps and in three different apps all were off by 30 min just in traffic. It's around 40 min from the airport, traffic is the main issue. The hotel staff is there but limited in going out of your way. You will see when you get there. I asked for a pool, and I expected a "no sorry or no we don't have one" I got a reply of "we don't have one because we are an executive and business hotel" not the answer I was looking hence I have been in hotels over $1K a night but I will give the benefit of the doubt that she needs more etiquette in speaking with clients. As for me, a small comment like that we won't be coming back.
Like the location with all the restaurants and things to do close by. You can walk to eat dinner, go bowling, get a coffee, etc.
The location, and the decoration of the rooms and hotel
Private, relaxing. Restaurants, shopping in walking distance. Modern design, comfortable.
No room service and need better attention to details
