Excellent location with good price. Very clean and quiet.
The hotel was well maintained and kept pretty clean. I was upgraded upon arrival due to not having any other rooms with my previous booking. The upgraded room was a queen size bed, decent size room, full bathroom, on the 26th floor with a view of the city. The TV did not have a remote control so that was a bit annoying. The fitness facility was a good size room but the equipment was very old home models, not commercial grade. Breakfast was $55CNY so pretty cheap buffet style breakfast/ brunch food. Overall a good stay.
Breakfast is horrible, the "Business Center" has no internet connection and communicating with the staff is almost impossible. Nonetheless if you are only looking for a clean bed go ahead.
Overall the hotel provided a very pleasant place to stay, however the food was less than satisfactory with very little variety from day to day.
The location is great just at the gangding metro station u can shop electronic across the street Room service twice daily and good breakfast buffet The bed is a little pit hard but overall I will stay there again
Best location I have stayed at in Guangzhou. Close enough to Canton Fair. Shops and restaurants all around. In need of refurb but I'm happy to accept half the usual rate to put up with that. Excellent breakfast on the open air 36th floor even though the booked rate said no breakfast. Foot massage next door for peanuts. I shall return!

One of the best hotels in the region, in terms of $$$ & distance & comfort. Close to Canton Fair Complex (about 15/20 min ride). There are various shopping places around the hotel. There is a subway (metro) station (GANGDING) next to hotel front door. Wifi is available in all hotel floors. Speed of Wifi was somehow slower during my stay in October 2012. There were no bugs & insects during my stay. Staff does not speak fluent English but you can communicate with them easily. For the concierge services, please always negotiate for the price and ask for discounts or better prices. I would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.
The Majestic hotel is located in a centralized location with all the modern conveniences any one would want. The hotel is adjacent to a mall and theatre. It is close to a shopping area. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room is small but very nice and clean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
