Hotel location is great! But the room is a let down. No air conditioning, hot and stuffy! (Read other reviews and they had same problems) We booked a business suite but it was such a terrible experience. We resorted to asking for a fan in the room! Rusty fitting in the bathroom, water was seeping through the glass shower door causing a mini flood, definitely a hazard! For this price, pls stay elsewhere!!!Apart from the location and free mini bar, there are more cons than pros.
Location of this hotel is perfect. Close to the MRT, amazing amount of restaurants and shopping malls. In the evening you can enjoy walking around between the lightened skyscrapers. Go to the Tian bar located on 99F at the Four season hotel for an amazing view on the New Town area. Nice breakfast with a lot of choice. Leeden dinner restaurant food's is good but don't except any charm. There are better choices outside.
The staff here are really friendly they went out of their way to help, the location was awesome - everything u want was a quick uber away. Among the best memory was being able to use facebook using the wifi in this hotel.
My Friend and I just spent two nights here and have nothing to complain about. Staff were very friendly and took care of all our needs. We attended the Canton Fair, They provided a shuttle bus to and from the Fair, including water and chocolates upon entering the Coach. Easy instruction on where to find the return coach in the afternoon. Great breakfast! We ate in the restaurant both nights and really enjoyed our meal. Found a great restaurant for lunch on the last day. 10mins walk from the hotel which had Steak, Ribs and Beer called 1920, in the World Mall. 7 Eleven downstairs. 5 mins walk to the Metro. We picked up a 3 day pass at the Airport for CNY50. great for getting all over the city. Would I book this hotel again next time - Yes!
Leeden Hotel is a nice hotel at a good price. Rooms are comfortable, beds are not hard and the service is good. The hotel is walking distance from the subway Line 2 and many expat restaurants/pubs. Worth it.
While true the location of this hotel is excellent, the rooms are small and poorly ventilated also the windows do not open. There is a charge for using the pool table and the swimming pool is tiny. The gym is smelly. The Japanese restaurant is quite good but expensive. The breakfast is OK. Service is good. Not recommended unless location and budget dictate otherwise.
Above all, a good value for price --- the price I paid for one night was the same as a 10-persons dorm bedspace in a youth hostel in NYC. The district where this hotel is located in, I believe, is one of the best districts to stay in this city. Many people would like the free mini bar there, and the amenities were nice. Staff were also helpful, and wifi functioned well. I liked the good water pressure and the hot water for shower. The only problem I faced was the smelly room -- I stayed in a non-smoking room, but the room was still smelly a bit. Also, the hotel itself does not occupy the entire building, so you need to be ready to find a big building where this hotel is just a part of it.
I really like Leeden hotel. This is a very clean and modern hotel. It is great for the value. Similar hotels around the area are actually more expensive. The location is great too. It is about 6-7 mins walking to the closest subway station. There are lots of restaurants around. It is also in the center of CBD. Therefore very convenient for business purposes. The best thing about this hotel is that drink in minibar in the room is free and room service refills the minibar every day. This is really something unique and adding value amongst all the hotels that I stayed so far.
Overall a pleasant hotel. Staff was very nice but no English speaking folks which is minor with today's translation tools. Rooms decent but bathroom a bit small. TVs are outdated but functional. Great location and easy walking distance to restaurants or coffee shops or just a convenience store. Internet was very good and their free breakfast very nice. Would return.
Very good almost all, i dont say EXCELENT, because almost nobody speck english, for a category of hotel, is suprise this happen. All of the rest love it, people very warm, and ready to help. I WIIL BE BACK
