This hotel occupies several floors of a larger building so you have to go up for the lobby and then (oddly) down for rooms. But the rooms are very large and spacious - comfortable and well-equipped. Staff generally helpful, but be prepared to wait at the lifts. Breakfast was a good range of Chinese and Western to suit your taste - the dining room has great views of the main business district. Recommended.

I travel to Guangzhou area at least twice a year. I don't stay in Zhujiang area that often because hotels here are generally more expensive. H'Elite is a great value and has great location. The lobby is on the 17th floor. The rooms are on floors below 17 (12-17 floor i believe). Like others have said, the rooms are clean and very spacious. With that said, Guangzhou rooms in general are on the larger side when comparing to Hong Kong. I would recommend this place for those on work trips in Guanghzou. It's close to shopping malls with good food. As well as within a block from the nearest Metro. Zhujiang New Town station.

This hotel location is very good as its in the CBD area. The rooms are huge and comfy. No doubt the housekeeping is slow as I waited almost 1 hr for the room to be clean, when i arrive and check in at 3:00 PM. Nevertheless the housekeepers were very apologetic and presented a warm and clean welcome room. Housekeeper ensure she change everything (bed sheet, towel, pillow case etc) in the room before i start my stay. Supervisor even visited my room after the clean up to check every single thing and ensure room is clean and all necessaries are changed. Was surprises that the service was fast as well when i requested for iron facilities. The setback is that the room service is not 24 hr as I wanted to order room services at 1 AM but it was closed. Secondly there is no safe box in the room as well. Breakfast buffet spread is very good and clean area. Overall very satisfied stay.

Extremely disappointed, the reception personnel very rude, specially the girl in the desk, they take long time to complete my check-in, they do not speak basic English, the room is not clean at all, even when I ask to clean the shower, they leave almost same, very basic room, it is not a 4 stars hotel at all!!! The room was very noisy even in 14th floor (room 1435 to be exact). the USB contacts next to the bed it was useful, not work. Too complicated to get your room: you need to go up to floor 17 (lobby) and then take another lift to go down to your room (floor 14). There are better hotels in 200 mts around this place at 50% of the cost, honestly, avoid it, do not recommend.

A simple no frills business apartment hotel at prominent location of Tianhe. Absolutely a value for money for the people who doesn’t require much luxury but centre of city location for quick commute. It’s approx 1hr 10mins drive ( will cost 175-180RMB approx) in normal Guangzhou Traffic and rooms are absolutely spacious with simple but elegant furniture. Front desk staffs are not only efficient but also extremely helpful. The moment they see foreigners, they call a team member who speaks English. May be that’s not Oxford English but serves the purpose and moreover they are extremely eager to serve you better. Mr. Liu, post my bill settlement called the Taxi and came down from 17th floor reception to entrance at ground floor just to search my taxi and ensure I am comfortable. Breakfast menu is elaborate but in 2 separate sections, so need to search before concluding about the spread. 5th floor Chinese restaurant is just amazing. Area is surrounded by shopping malls , so shopping for self of loved one wasn’t a challenge

Beautifully decorated and spacious rooms. Think minimalist Scandinavian meets Japan. Comfortable bed where I had a great night's sleep. Our room had a great view of the pedestrian mall Mall of the Worlds. Great location in the Tianhe district. 10 minute walk to the US Consulate, and 20 minute walk to the Guanzhou Tower. The only disadvantage is that I found that there were only 2 slow elevators to service 6 floors of rooms this made them slow and almost inadequate. You still have to take a second elevator to the ground entrance as the lobby is located on the 17th floor. Every room has an android tablet that allows you to control lighting, A/C, and other functions. The television is a wide flats creen but only a few Chinese channels are offered, so bring your own program on a usb stick. Overall it was a great stay, Highly recommended.

I believe that the hotel is located at the best area in Guangzhou. It is surrounded by many new and modern commercial buildings, huge shopping malls with hundreds of restaurants/cafes, park and metro stations. Although it is in Tianhe District, the environment is quiet and in good order, not like the area of crowded Teemall. The hotel staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The whole check-in and our processes were speedy and stress-free. The room interior was designed in minimal style and filled with smart home kits. Everything was great.

I missed my flight and the hotel staff came to my rescue. Pulling out all the stops to ensure I made my flight the next day!! It was an incredibly stressful situation, especially as the China Southern call centre assistant could not understand me over the telephone. Thank you once again. Thank you KEVIN!! Very spacious and modern rooms, lovely location. Had some great restaurants right behind the hotel in the same building. Only problem is the location of the hotel is wrong on google maps and other gps systems. So, be alert when your cab takes you here. I remember it’s in the same building As Kingold Century...

Stayed here for two weeks very very recently. Ended up moving hotel for the last week of my stay because it was unbearable. Note on the website it says there is a gym and a swimming pool. These two things are actually still being built, they start at 8am and finish at 8pm everyday, Monday through Sunday. So along with the constant drilling, which is ridiculously loud in all the bedrooms, I moved from the 11th floor, to the 14th and then to the 17th (all just as bad). The noise insulation between the rooms in the hotel in non-existent. You can here all too well what is going on in the rooms next to you, from using the shower, bathroom, sex!, TV, Phone calls, you become very aware of what your neighbours are doing. Also note that opposite is one of Guangzhou's night clubs and every night between 00:00-05:00 the taxis will use there horns...worth getting a room with an even number to avoid this noise! The breakfast is well, not good. Variety is ok, but the quality of food is not worth what you pay. Better off going to one of the restaurants in the shopping centre at the bottom of the hotel (The Happy Monk does a great breakfast daily). None of the staff speak English either. Not good enough really. Obviously for a few nights at the price it is probably ok, but any longer and I would thoroughly recommend finding another hotel, there are plenty to choose from in the area.
