The staff is absolutely stellar with every attention to detail. The facility and restaurants are excellent. We have stayed at this 4 Seasons over many years and consider it the premier hotel in Guangzhou.

For 450$ a night, I was quite disappointed. The room was 7909 in which two huge columns blocking the outside view. The room appears to be not comptletely prepared for guest use. The sofa was old and ugly. The worst thing was air conditioning .

There is much to see in the city. The hotel is located in a newer business area so it is a bit far from the scenic old city. There are sufficient restaurants nearby so the travel is not a big issue. Don’t miss the Provincial Museum. It is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Tim who works at the ground floor concierge is a helpful staff.
