Towels look dirty. They look dark, maybe a good wash will help.

The food that we requested to our room was VERY BAD.

I don't normally give long reviews but this one deserves some comment...The first room we were placed in smelled slightly of body odor (1004) and had mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. It only got worse from there… We were placed across from a larger room, the residence of which, along with the rooms on either side of us, held an all-night party keeping us up till about 4:30AM laughing, singing, slamming doors etc., and this after calling the security at 3 AM to intervene. The next morning we requested to be moved so that we could get a better nights sleep. ( i'm surprised that they did not offer) They moved us to a "premium" room for the inconvenience, which is another way to say an I denticle room on a higher floor. they moved us to room 1506 which smelled significantly worse (feet or body odor!), but before unpacking I asked to be moved to a third room (1805) which was OK, again, call the premium room but identicle to the other two. The concierge service personnel were very friendly but unprepared. They mainly wanted to stick us on a tequila tour. When we asked for other options they said that they would prepare some materials and get back to us, but never did. In general they did not seem familiar with the town. The hotel needs to get maps of the city, know what some of the best restaurants are and be prepared with some unique sightseeing opportunities for those wanting to experience Guadalajara and the surrounding towns...other than getting drunk.

THE ONLY BAD THING ABOUT OUR STAY IN THE WESTIN GUADALAHARA WAS:THE DINNER...(THEY SERVE OUR ORDERS (STEAK AND FISH FILET WITH NO GARNISHMENT....WE HAD TO ORDER THE VEGETABLES AND POTATOES... AT BREAKFAST BUFFET...I HAD ONLY A CUP OF COFFEE BUT THEY CHARGED ME 260.00 PESOS FOR IT...I HAD TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE CHARGE TILL THEY REMOVED FROM MY BILL. THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE DEPT MUST BE IMPROVED

Great hotel very well located near Expo. The breakfast not so great but the lobby bar is pretty cool.

This is a very well located, nice hotel. The bed is awsome. And also de room service menu.

Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, and location was very convenient.

This is a great value for the hotel and location. It is very spacious, clean, and comfortable hotel. Staffs speak fluent English. That said, there are some incidents worth notice. I was in a rush to a meeting and forgot to take all valuables with me. In 3 hours, when I returned, I found that a dress shirt pocket with some pesos inside was taken. This left me with not sufficient money to take a taxi. (Hotel does not do foreign exchange and Mexico government forbid using US dollar for transactions). I ended up paying 15% overhead for a taxi fare. In addition to the incident, the checkout staff insisted that my room was not pre-paid (I brought the package). So I have to call my travel agent when I came back. It is quickly resolved, but did leave some bad taste on this hotel.

this is a very nice place to escape the craziness of the city outside it's doors... newer, fresh and very comfortable. if possible, get a corner room on a high floor... it costs a bit more, but worth it. great rates in general for a good stay.

It was a wonderful experience all the way! The rooms are comfortable and very well decorated. Beautiful from the entrance! Great location.

Great place to stay for our reunion with relatives in Guadalajara after a long day of site seeing.the beds were very comfortable. The bar was a great place to have a cocktail and watch soccer game. Really enjoyed working out at gym very clean and great equipment .

This hotel was very good at the price paid, it was one of the only 2 Pet friendly hotels we found in Guadalajara Mexico. We hated the prices for room service and avery other extras and additionals... Staff was very very friendly and profesional. great location. Parking is not incuded, cost 7 dollars a day.

Hotel is relatively new, very comfortable, with friendly staff and very good amenities. Great quality-price ratio. Would definitely go back. Internet is about $4 usd per 45 minutes, but you can use them on and off.

Great Hotel. Very convenient rate. Everything was perfect except for the AC that didn't work and had to be repaired.

Stayed here just for the heavenly bed, which is always a plus on any Westin stay. Bathroom could have been cleaner but very acceptable, marble showers are hard to keep impecable. Room turned over by maid daily. Room service was punctual. Staff was friendly. Easy booking no mess, no fuzz. Nice stay to get away from the city. Pretty sure i left my ipad charger in the room, called 24 hrs after checkout they say nothing was left but its ok tho, its expected, my fault. Very nice stay overall.

The hotel is very new and the rooms are high luxury hotel quality: marble bathrooms, a good shower, beautiful and comfy rooms! It was great knowing I had a nice hotel waiting for me to relax after a long day of work. The location is perfect if you're going to the EXPO since it's right across the street from it. Anywhere else you may need a taxi (right across the street, too) or a ride but nothing is too far from it. I would definitely recommend if you're on a business trip or a family retreat in Guadalajara. PS: Their bar makes the BEST margaritas in Mexico, I'm convinced!

THIS HOTEL CHARGES YOU FOR VALET PARKING , AND ALMOST 20 DOLLARS FOR INTERNET RIDICULOUS !!! Nice comfortable rooms and restrooms are nice very new everything was nice except for overcharging on internet and valet parking by force since you cant park the car yourself.

My experience at this hotel was great, one of the best ones i have had in Mexico. I loved the decor and the staff of the hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. In short i look forward to staying at this hotel again.

the hotel is very nice, the staff not well trained, needs a spa and better room service menu
