First let start by saying what a beautiful quaint boutique hotel that could not offer more! The interior is just lovely and very clean. The grounds And gardens are extremely well kept and and every area unique. The people I can't say enough About. So friendly, helpful, polite and caring. From Angela, at the reception counter, to Charlie the bartender. Bar area is neat with good drinks. Secondly, the restaurant on site is wonderful. One of , if not the best in tlaquepacque. When visiting this area this is the only hotel I would consider and and recommend to everyone. Jim & kathy Southcomb Peachtree City, Georgia USA
It is telling that the hotel's website has a link devoted to introducing their staff. In all of our travels throughout North America we have not encountered a hotel staff more willing to please the guest. Jose and Fabiola at the front desk, Mercedes and Alejandra serving breakfast, Rafael making great recommendations while serving dinner and the best for last, Charlie serving up great tequila and good times at the bar. All have their customer's best interests at heart.
This is an ideal spot to visit Tlaquepaque, which is a wonderful small town outside of Guadalajara. The people at the hotel were very attentive and accommodating. Would stay there again! Don't miss the taco carts at the corner of the hotel, BEST TACOS IN TLAQUEPAQUE!
The last time I was in Tlequepaque I asked our taxi driver what the best hotel was in the area and this was it. So, when planning a recent trip with my sister, I booked (two months in advance). Room #15 poolside suite. Great location, beautiful property, the most warm and welcoming staff ever! We were met at the airport beautifully, enjoyed the comfort of our room and everything else to the max. I highly recommend this fabulous hotel.
Nothing is left to chance at this wonderful boutique hotel. The staff, breakfast, room....everything is always just right. Thank you Quinta Don Jose.. :) Can't wait to go back in February. Looking forward to another memory making trip.
Quinta Don Jose is centrally located with comfortable rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was magnificiant, especially Jose at the front desk, the cleaning staff, the restaurant and bar...really nothing was lacking. Excellent food and shopping within walking distance. And the taco stand right around the corner has the most excellent late night street food.
We went to Tlaquepaque for a few days to do some furniture shopping. This hotel was highly recommended, and it did not disappoint! A beautiful and intimate oasis, it felt like staying in an authentic old Mexican home. The staff is perhaps the most welcoming I’ve ever experienced, always calling us by name and making us feel truly at home. They will assist with anything you might need. Lovely shuttle service too. Charlie, the bartender was a pleasure and Jose at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The grounds are impeccably well maintained. We will be going back again!
We just stayed at QDJ for two nights. We've stayed there many times before, but this is the first time we stayed in the poolside suites. We absolutely loved them! Super comfortable and private. As is always the case, the staff is terrific. The same staff are there every time, so the hotel must treat them well, which makes me love the place even more. We talk about staying somewhere else sometime, but why? Quinta Don Jose is perfect for us.
We really loved the quaint Mexican style hotel. The staff were all so pleasant and friendly. We bought our two small dogs on our trip and the grounds there very well suited to accommodate them. Everything about the grounds were beautiful from the pond with turtles and the beautiful fountains and plants. We ejoyed
We have been going to Mexico / Tlaquepaque / Guadalajara for many years and several times a year with friends or by ourselves and we needed to find new home there... and think we have found it. The rooms are a little confusing between villas, suites, deluxe and others. But all seems to be ok.
