So glad we booked this rental for the funeral weekend of my Father. Our five grown children flew in to stay with their dad and I; the first time we have all stayed overnight under one roof since the oldest got married nine years ago. The grounds and house are absolutely beautiful as pictured. There was space for us each to find a quiet place if needed, and ample space for us to gather — around a meal, for a game, or just to reminisce. A daughter and I would catch up with each other sitting in the comfortable chairs in the upstairs hallway, while dad and our son were sitting at the dining table sharing. Another two daughters were in one of the living rooms watching a movie, while another caught some much needed alone time. One of the things, with five females we often find difficult is getting ready with limited mirrors. There are mirrors tucked inside every closet door and scattered throughout the house. We didn’t bring grandkids, but noticed supplies of toys throughout, neatly tucked away and sure to delight. This place just brought so much peace and comfort to our weekend from the moment we drove on the property. Thank you to the hosts for a five-star experience
