Room was better than I expected, well appointed and clean. I was a bit apprehensive when I arrived at my room and found the door locked open. I peeked in to see the room was vacant with no sign of anything disturbed. I presume the cleaning staff had left the room open. That was the only negative experience I had there. As for the property, it has parking around three sides of the building and businesses on its borders. That leaves one entrance in and out. So it is secure but a bit limited in access. Not a big deal but seems it might be nice to have driving access to shopping and restaurants. You can walk to a few places easily which I did.

No mention that a $100 deposit was required. Room was useable. The smell of bleach was.. wow. AC was noisy. Car in parking lot directly in line with our window had its high intensity headlights on. Picture a scene from an alien movie with the lights but in the windows. And, they had he atero loud enough it was heard in the room. After 15 min I went to the desk. It was handled. Slowly. Parking lot lights are directed at the building. Again, lighting up the windows.

Thermostat in one of the rooms there were literally roaches all around. First it was one by the AC and also in the bathroom area And then found some around the bed as well. Then when I try to turn on the water to wash my hands the first thing that comes out is dirty muddy water. Did not enjoy my stay overall

Since I was arriving from out of town, I actually arrived earlier than expected. I called and was able to check in early. Johnny was super nice and helpful. The evening clerk she was very helpful since my room key kept deactivating. Tanger Outlet was a few minutes away. Lots of eating options near by and of course Super Walmart, Dollar Tree and Ingles grocery store. The Red Roof Inn is right next to the highway which was great because I was able to go in either direction for shopping too! I would recommend staying at this location.
