Best hotel staff I've seen in awhile. Clean, well maintained. Lot around to do. Beautiful scenery. Cheap. Well worth the price. Great time. Very great time. Loved it. Thank you to the staff for talking and being social, my 3 weeks here was a blast.
Spent 3 weeks there for business and was very comfortable. The staff was great. Very friendly. Every time I went to the door it was either "have a nice day" or "welcome back". I've never received that kind of greeting at any other hotel. Spent some time talking to Candy at the front desk. You can tell she cares alot about her job and the hotel. Very friendly, always wanting to help any way she can, and had some great advice on different things to do. The breakfast was good. Everything was hot and had a variety of things to choose from. The beds were very comfortable. Never had any problem sleeping. Showers had good pressure and everything was cleaned. I really have no complaints about this hotel and would stay there again.
We recently stayed here after a car accident on I-75 near McDonough Georgia. My wife and I stay at Marriott's quite frequently and are platinum members. My wife asked for a quiet room away from the elevators etc. We were quite happy when they upgraded us to a king room. If was starting to get late and we were extremely tired and needed rest and sleep. The hotel staff assured us that the room was quiet. After staying in the room 15 minutes we heard a long train sound. My wife called the staff and someone stated that another train would come through hours later. That was not correct another train came through 15 or 20 minutes later with their horns sounding. My wife called the front desk again and was told by another person that trains could come through all hours of the night. We were not very happy and the hotel offered to move us to another room on the opposite side. Less noisy but you could still hear the trains. We were very disappointed and would not stay here again. Loud train noises, not up to Marriott standards in my opinion. Were told my staff we should have checked reviews first regarding train noises. We could not we just called 800 number and staff did not tell us about this when checking in.
A very nice and clean Fairfield. I believe newly built,(i.e. Last couple years) staff was always nice, friendly, and available to help. Rooms were clean with all the amenities, beds are amazingly comfortable. Full breakfast bar with decent food.
We stayed here overnight on our way home from the beach. When we arrived after midnight, there was a very large and loud wedding crowd gathered in the lobby. The noise made it difficult for the desk associate and myself to communicate during the check in process. I almost turned around and walked out fearing that the noise would interrupt our much needed sleep. The room was ok, beds were comfy. Breakfast area was a disaster in the morning. Trash piled up over the full cans, the floor was sticky and I had to wait for 15 mins for them to brew more coffee. We always stay at Marriott properties, but we will pass on this one next time.
I currently had a bad experience with another hotel, but thankfully Fairfield Inn & Suites came to the rescue. This is one of the best hotels I've been to thus far. Each staff greets you with a warm welcome. Their rates are reasonable & breakfast and amenities were perfect for my family and I. You must stay here!!! It's also great access to flea market and plenty of shopping.
We stayed for three nights. 1st morning, the breakfast area was a disaster - spilled cereal all over and dirty tables. That afternoon our room was still jot cleaned by 4:15. We were moved to another room. The shower tiles in that room had a large crack down the wall and was caulked to repair. Last morning, there was no orange juice or sugar feee syrup available, The entire time, the printer in the business office was out of order.
This hotel has very easy access from the interstate which a huge plus for a tired traveler. The staff is super friendly and helpful! We had a big post graduation family crowd and they went out of there way to accommodate everyone. Nice! The rooms have an added sleeping feature in the form of a pullout love seat size sofa which is incredibly helpful when you are distributing sleeping spaces for teenagers or adults. Plenty of parking. The free breakfast was a huge hit as well. Everyone starts the day better when they are full and happy! Don't miss this stop coming or going from Atlanta!
This is one of our regular stops when traveling to Florida. It is a very well maintained property, close to the Interstate, but far enough away so you do not here traffic noise and they have super personnel. Also there are many restaurants nearby as well as shopping at Target, Belk, Books a Million, Home Goods and many more.
Happened to pick this place as an overnight stop using Marriott points. As a lifetime platinum member we were given a really nice one bedroom suite (using free points). Room was really nice, everything very clean, fresh and working. Everybody we talked to were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical Fairfield. All you need but nothing fancy or special. It worked perfectly for a one night stay. Easy access to I75 with easy on and off. Lots of restaurant choices very close by.
