It was almost 2am and no one was at the check-in door to get us all checked in. We had to ride around to find another hotel. Luckily we went to the Comfort Inn (which is in the same franchise as the Quality Inn), and the young man there kindly got in contact with the guy who was supposed to check us in and we had to travel back there to get all checked in. It was very aggravating and frustrating at 2am trying to get situated to settle in for the night. Very disappointing.

Never staying here again !!

We got in late. I reserved a non-smoking room. The room had a tag stating it was non-smoking on the desk. The room reeked of old smoke. It was too late and cold for me to want to mess with changing rooms. The next morning, when i checked out, I complained about the smoke smell. I was told they were in the room the day before and 'non-one smelled smoke'. That was it. No apology, no nothing. Plus, at 9:30 in the morning, housekeeping banged on the door repeatedly. Then they called a half hour later to see if we were still in the room. Check out is 11:00, they called me at 11:05 as we were preparing to leave the room to basically tell me to get out. The hotel was not at all full.

The property was fair but not a place I would return to. I decided to check out earlier than planned I accidentally left some of my clothes there in one of the drawers so I went back, it was only about two or three hours later and was told the room was cleaned and they didn’t see any clothes in there. i left my contacts incase they turned up somewhere. I was very disappointed because I had to go out and purchase clothes for my stay in NC.

I loved the waffles served during the continental breakfast. The gym was nice as well. I went usually after 10pm and had the gym to myself. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s directly across the street from dollar tree and Denny’s which was very convenient.

The front desk staff was really nice. Something that you would expect from a hotel answered all my questions with no problem and was really nice room was nice and clean. No problems at all. I have stayed at this motel plenty of times and every time there is a different room I have never had a problem. I haven’t seen any bugs and it’s comfortable will definitely be to my go to place even when I feel like I just need to get away.

I Would not recommend staying here.

First thing we noticed when we walked into the room was a horrible smell. Then when we stepped into the room, we noticed our shoes were sticking to the floor when we walked. We had to put our shoes on every time we got out of bed to go to the bathroom. We finally laid down towels to walk on so we didn't have to feel the stickiness. There were two toilet paper rolls hanging in the bathroom and one of them had a blood stain on the side. Breakfast was also a huge disappointment. Your choice is either a waffle, using a broken waffle machine, timer didn't work, a microwave biscuit, or cereal. On the plus side, the coffee was excellent!
