Came to stay there while dropping my daughter off at college at ECU. Very close to the college and convenient to stores and restaurants.

I did not like anything about this hotel. First it is highly overpriced for the service provided. They are taking advantage of having a Marriott name but in reality they are from from it. You are greeted by receptionist who isn't uniformed but rather dressed casually in a t-shirt without sleeves. In a lobby there is sort of Starbucks cafe that is closed at 10 pm. Room is outdated, lighting is poor and depressive, carpet is old worn and smelly, sheets were not clean and we could smell sweat. They were not washed, not even ironed from a previous guests. Room refrigerator did not had any drinks for sale, there was a small shop in the lobby to buy snacks.. Shower was leaking and after just a few minutes in the shower whole bathroom floor was flooded. We did not slept well and we couldn't wait to get out ... and yes, breakfast is not included in price...

My daughter and i were in town for her ECU orientation and spent 2 nights. This hotel is very spacious and clean and convenient to campus.

Went on a few day stay for a graduation. It was a comfortable room with a nice pool and outdoor sitting area. Would def go back.

The hotel itself is beautiful inside. Very modern and yet welcoming. The rooms are beautiful and definitely worth the money! The decor and furniture were very impressive. It was a perfect romantic night away. My only complaint was we had to wait for almost 10 minutes when we got there for someone to come to the counter so we could check in, and when he showed up he was very condescending and rude. They seemed understaffed, but other than him they were wonderful and helpful. Will absolutely stay again when we're in the area!

My bathroom wasn't clean and the bistro couldn't fill any order I had because equipment in the kitchen "was down"pool and spa were clean and nice.

No microwave (>$100/ nite) Parking lot renovation in progress Dirty bathroom on checkin (Hair in shower and feces in toilet)

Very beautiful hotel. Renovations were being done and expansions but I stayed on the weekend and they weren't working. Awesome stay the entire time.

nice hotel friendly staff first hotel over 100 bucks that does not provide a microwave in the room I like to pop popcorn and watch tv at night

Beds not up to other hotels new beds. Water to soft to rinse off soap. Drain in shower slow to drain.

Nice, clean hotel that was close to local attractions.

My wife and I were there for a football game, and the hotel was ideal after a long day of travel, tailgating, football, and dinner with relatives. Our only complaint was the complimentary coffee dispensers were empty in the morning.

I expected more for $100.
