Room smelled like cigarettes. Ac was supper loud the room. The hot tube was not filled up all the way so the jets didn't work. Housekeeping staff was very nice.

Hotel was okind but the cost from orbitz was more than it would have been if I purchased it hotel myself.

Great breakfast! Price vs. well used room was ok for the area but room condition was disappointing vs. other Wingate Inns in which I have stayed. Would be a 4 if carpet wasn't frayed and shower head didn't leak. 2 bath towels were adequate at best.

The stay was generally good, with a clean comfortable room, and good selection of breakfast items. The indoor pool was a little too cloudy to get in, but the hot jacuzzi was nice. There were a couple of ratty looking cars (one an old Chrysler convertible with the top down and some of the interior messed up, and the other a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a tarp covering the top) in the front parking lot that detracted from the desirability of the stay. If these belonged to employees, they should have been parked in the back of the parking lot. Also the hallway carpet smelled like cigarette smoke

I have stayed at this hotel before it has been fine for my purposes. The best part is that continental breakfast is included. The only concern I had was that this stay I was assigned a handicap room which I found odd, not sure if it's because of the value or what, but when I mentioned it to the front desk they said that was what the service booked. It was little awkward. This was my only concern. Other than that everything was good.

Front desk Staff did not acknowledge us, was not friendly. Cleaning staff finally welcomed us. Upgraded to "queen' sized beds which were no bigger than full. Pool was small. Not worth the "upgraded' price. On the upside, continental breakfast was great and catering staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was clean and comfortable but the walls were super thin. Woke up about hour after falling a sleep from the man in the room next to us clearing his throat. You could also hear his TV even though you could tell he had it on low. We turned on the fan to the heating and air unit and let it run all night to drown out the noise.

So apparently their computer wasn't working for when you made a reservation with a third party so it took them an entire hour to get us checked in. The entire situation was horrible and delayed other things that were time sensitive.

The lady at the check-in desk was very kind. After we got situated in the room, she called to make sure everything was OK & that we had everything we needed. We've never had anyone to do that before. Before we left Sunday morning, we finally tried the pool right after it opened. It was rather cold. My husband went in a few minutes, but I didn't do anything but step into & back of it. It would have been nice if it had been heated some. Otherwise, fabulous!!

The main thing was the parking situation was very private as far as the area being secure. I was thankful it was right off the beaten path and within a short distance from everything. I really enjoyed the breakfast even though it was continental, which is something I usually don't adhere to but it having hot eggs and pork was an added surprise that next morning and it was always hot. Overall I really enjoyed my stay there and look forward to the next opportunity to reside with them.

Came in a day early. I found that this causes issues with reservations and payments. Seems they are not able to make changes to third party bookings. Then when I add a regular night to my booking it caused them all kinds of grief. Hotel was clean, pleasant and located well.

Hotel was clean, but somewhat dated. Bed was a little lumpy, and pillows were very uncomfortable. I could hear person next door talking on the phone, and when his alarm clock went off in the morning.

We arrived in town at 2:00 for a wedding that was starting at 4:00 pm, we asked if we could check in early and the nasty lady at the front desk replied, " NO, we had a full house last night and we won't have rooms available until around 3:30 or 4 pm and we only have one person in house keeping today." Mind you this was also Eastern Carolina Univ. graduation weekend and folks were starting to pull in due to graduation starting at 6 pm. My boyfriend then asked if we could change in the restrooms and she was not too thrilled with us doing that. Finally, she 2-wayed housekeeping to check on the status of the rooms and found out that several rooms were indeed ALREADY CLEANED. When I asked her about the Wyndham Rewards program, she had no brochures handy and could not tell me anything about the program. The room was nice and clean but the restroom could have used some more work. The wash cloth had holes in them and the bath towels looked dirty. At breakfast the next morning, we could not find anyone who spoke Ebglish who could replenish the waffle batter, the Cranberry juice or bring out more bagels. The lady who was sitting there kept say," No comprendo". I was very disappointed in this Wingate, I have stayed at other Wingates and enjoyed everything. I highly recommend hiring more staff on BUSY weekends or after BUSY nights and have someone who speaks english who can assist your customers.

Went for daughter's graduation from ECU. Bed pillows lumpy and stained. Asked front desk staff for other pillows and were told, "Don't have any." Staff did give directions to Walmart so we could go BUY pillows. Although breakfast is a very nice convenience, the area was not well stocked and staff was slow and surly about helping stock items (needed a knife is all!) But the room was clean and good a/c and very, very quiet.

Not the best location, but not bad. Clean hotel, clean room. One of the better hotels I have stayed at in Greenville for the $$. AC unit was a little noisy, but could be turned down or off.

First of all, I requested a non smoking room and they gave us a smoking room. When we went down to advise, they stated they did not have anymore non smoking rooms with double beds which meant we ended up having to stay in a room that did not accomodate the people. They gave us a room first where the door card did not work. Each time we left the room, the hotel attendant had to come up and let us in the room. Walls were paper thin and we could hear the entire conversation of the people in the next room. When we finally moved and got a non smoking room it was on the same floor and I could still smell the smoke.
