Great stay, nice room

Awesome stay. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast was good, gym was nice, and staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside is the internet to connect to the tv and watch apps would not work.

Front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. We needed some help with our thermostat, and he immediately came to fix it. On checkout, a different gentleman helped me. Both were very conscientious. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Nice shower for a mid level hotel. Good breakfast. We visit sulphur springs several times per year and chose a different hotel this time due to price and short trip. We were very pleased. This isn't a lixury hotel, but it is very good as a mid or economy level.

After driving 5 hours we stopped to get some rest. I usually stay at HIE so I had booked this one a couple days ahead of time. The lobby is clean and the young gentlemen who checked us in was polite. Once we got past the front lobby though we noticed an awful smell. It was everywhere, even our room. It smelled like a dirty retirement home. After meeting the front desk attendant the next morning I believe they may own and live on the property so they may be nose blind to the stench. It was truly unpleasant. Also too many slamming doors in the wee early morning hours. Got work up at 5ish by a constant slamming door. Won’t be staying here again. Way less standards than every other HIE I’ve ever stayed at.

While the hotel itself is fine the location is just off the highway and far from any amenities. It would have been better if the televisions in the rooms had worked. However breakfast excellent and cleanliness very high standard as one expects from Holiday Inn Express.

Had to wait 20 minutes at the front desk, because there was no one to help and check us out to our room after 20 hours drive. The clerk was very pleasant , it’s hard when you are working alone, so I kind of understand his dilemma. And breakfast in the morning was a joke, because all their was , yogurt, banana, cold boiled eggs in the fridge and cereal. Normally, Holiday Inn is my to go place when I am not sure when going to a new place. But this one was a little disappointing. The room was clean though!! 😜

There were stains on the beds in the SECOND room and cockroaches in the first. They're changing names and my reservation wasn't even on their books because of it all. What a mess. Leaving ASAP. If it wasn't so late at night wouldn't have stayed as long as we did.

My recent stay at Days Inn &Suites by Wyndham at Sulphur Springs this week was an absolute nightmare, leaving me with a deep sense of frustration and disappointment. This hotel not only failed to live up to its promises but also displayed a complete lack of regard for guest comfort and privacy. Here are the key issues I encountered: 1. Renovation Chaos: The fact that the hotel was undergoing renovation should have been communicated to guests prior to their arrival. The hotel should have temporarily closed or at least informed guests about the inconvenience they were about to face. 2. Double Booking Disaster: To make matters worse, while my wife and I were sleeping, another guest was mistakenly given access to our room. This shocking invasion of privacy is completely unacceptable. It is not only a breach of security but also puts the safety and well-being of guests at risk. The hotel's negligence in double booking rooms is inexcusable and highly unprofessional. 3. False Advertising: The hotel had advertised a complimentary breakfast as part of their amenities. However, to our dismay, no breakfast was served during our entire stay. This false advertising is not only misleading but also demonstrates a lack of integrity on the part of the hotel management. 4. Disinterested Staff: Throughout our stay, it was clear that the hotel staff could not care less about guest satisfaction. When we reported the invasion of our privacy and the lack of breakfast, their response was dism
