Lovely central spot to enjoy the 150 year anniversary of Davy Rennie Macintosh’s achievements. Glasgow was affordable and enjoyable. I love that the Scottish Art galleries have free admission allowing all to enjoy and appreciate . The hotel’s beautiful light and airy private bathroom afforded us a comfortable stay. The hotel location was ideal for twilight strolling. Unfortunately the Glasgow School of Arts had been burnt down only a few days before our visit.
Stayed here for one night for a concert. Cheap, cheerful and clean. Fantastic power shower! Close to lovely bars and restaurants and 5 mins walk from hydro. Only thing missing was a bar so felt more like a b&b/ guesthouse. Would stay again though
Stayed here before and they don’t disappoint. Beautiful and comfortable hotel, lovely staff, yummy breakfast & perfect location. 15-20 min walk to the hydro which is why we choose it. We will be back.
Stayed here for a gig at the Kelvingrove Bandstand which is very close by. The rooms were spotless, very quiet and comfortable. The staff were mega friendly and helpful. Shame I was on the road early as would have definitely gone for the add on £9 breakfast. Manged some on street parking which was free between 6pm - 8am, not many spaces so not guaranteed. The quality and standard of cleanliness puts many of the bigger hotels in Glasgow to shame and all at a great price! Definitely be back next time in Glasgow.
Good, big, bright, confortable, and clean room and good service, warm atmosphere and place. I felt fantastic there. The area is a new trendy area with very nice and cozy cafes, shops, and restaurants.
Excellent hotel, 15 minutes from Hydro, lots of lovely places to eat/drink nearby. Not far from town centre, would definitely stay here again. Staff friendly and helpful - noisy pipes in room 11 though
Very nice hotel with comfortable room and good service. I had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the possibilities of the surroundings. The location is very close to the University of Glasgow, Kelvingrove Park and museum.
My stay was very pleasant. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and facilities, overall it was quite nice indeed. I would recommend this hotel to anybody wishing to stop over in the Glasgow area. I enjoyed my time there.
Great location; near various landmarks what makes it perfect for visiting the city. Plenty of parking space in front of hotel. All well, only (cold) breakfast could be better. Value for money this hotel.
Good custom, stayed the night before, guy at reception was friendly & good to speak too. Central to a lot of food places & bars. Second time staying there and in the same room. Nice & clean. Water in the shower would turn cold sometimes however not a big deal. The place is more like an apartment than a hotel which i liked.
