Good one night stay

Great one night stop, cheap and cheerful. Good pub next door just a shame it doesn’t do breakfast. Good idea to pick up tea/coffee/milk yourself so available to top up. Register car for parking.

Every looked great until we tried to shower. The shower head was lose causing the water to leaked and wet the toilet area. No housekeeping was available to help out. The front desk personnel was super helpful though. She gave extra towels to dry up the area; a new hose and a shower head but there was no tools to fix it. Imagine only one personnel was available to handle a full house that evening. Management should provide more manpower during peak hour.

A good and welcome stay.

Our stay was very good. Comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful reception. The nearby pub was also very pleasant and our food delicious. One problem...we booked three roomscoriginally but DID CANCEL one. This did not seem to have registered.

Comfortable room

Rang in advance to tell Reception we would be arriving after 10.30pm, she said it was no trouble. When we got there the young lady was extremely helpful and very pleasant. She told us where there was plenty of tea coffee and milk if we needed it - which we did after a long journey. The hotel itself was a little dated but it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a good quiet nights sleep. We would definitely use it again.

The hotel was surrounded by litter. There was a notice at the entrance telling guests not to smoke there but there were people standing and sitting on the steps smoking constantly and no one stopped them. Our room was ground floor at the entrance to the hotel so we could hear constant talking.
