From arrival to departure it was the most pleasant experience. Very tasteful and artfully designed room with more than the usual amenities. Wifi, TV, bed and spaciousness were better than expected. Can easily recommend.
Fantastic hotel ideal for shopping night out staff were superb even if they were in the lift they got out to let you in nothing was to much for them, we had to leave in the early hours of Sunday morning as our daughter was taken ill sorted a taxi for us within minutes nothing was a problem thanks to the two gentlemen who were on reception
Overall brilliant stay, however were faced with a few issues. Handel for opening one of the windows was completely broken on on our arrival. Pile of hairs on desk chair on arrival. Almost as if someone had cleaned out their hairbrush and left the hairs there. Shower water would randomly turn roasting hot for about a second then go back to normal both in the evening and morning time. Room was very hot on arrival which the air conditioning cooled down very quickly once adjusted the temperature however, it took us about half an hour to find it as it’s on the wall tight against the mirror. Would have been good to have this written in the book.
Surrounded by some of the beautiful old Glaswegian buildings within the business borough of central Glasgow this hotel certainly stands out. Super tall and super modern this hotel may stand out for it's design however also for me stood out for it's really lovely and friendly staff and clean modern accommodation. On arrival from the airport I was greeted by two truly modest and friendly local girls who could not have been more helpful. They assisted with local knowledge in terms of restaurant advice and likewise made the booking in procedure simple and pleasant by the extra effort to engage in reality quite charming conversation. Nothing was too much of a problem and all relevant information was clearly explained to me. My room was on one of the higher floors and offered a great view and was suitably spacious and comfortable. The room held everything required for an overnight stay; hairdryer, iron and ironing board and a great entertainment package on the large television for free use to guests. After a great nights sleep in the more than comfortable bed I ventured down to the ground floor for a full Scottish breakfast and likewise was more than satisfied. Great selection of local produce all cooked well and well stocked buffet bar for continental option. My only moan would be I should have spoken up about my breakfast table, I was regretfully seated in the 'lounge' area of the restaurant and therefore sitting on a very low table and armchair which I have to say was not the most comfortable for eating at. As I say I should have spoken up and moved to the more formal and full height tables and chairs within the dining room. This aside great hotel, excellent staff and customer service received and I would definitely consider staying over here again on my next trip to Glasgow. A nice distance walk into the main Glasgow centre hub of shops and restaurants (not too far out).
Stayed at the hotel on New Year's Eve, was greeted with a whiskey taster and some shortbread which was a lovely touch! The room was immaculate and had everything we needed including comfort. There was a staff member named Emma who attended the bar and also did room service. She was so polite and well mannered, she delivered the best service I have ever received in a hotel! Even when having to work New Year's Eve! Overall a great stay!!
Third stay here. I absolutely love this hotel! I have stayed here several times and every time has been great. One day I hope to be able to afford to stay in one of the amazing suites. The beds are huge and so comfy. The hotel is very well presented and very clean. The facilities are great with all quality products from teas, shortbread, hot chocolate, coffee and even complimentary waters! I find this hotel so comfortable and homely. And the glazing on the windows is great to keep any street noise out. The TVs are huge and great quality. Bathrooms are a great size and the bar area is very sophisticated and cosy. Cannot rate this place highly enough and back again for three nights in March. Cannot wait!
Great location, will definitely book at this hotel should we ever return to Glasgow. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room and facilities well maintained. Great breakfast served daily if option taken.
Friendly staff, good room and loved the ambience of the restaurant - it was warm and inviting. All services were good and the staff, even the housekeeping lady, polite and friendly. Would recommend for a comfortable stay, whether with family or for business.
Booked three rooms for a family stay over four nights at Christmas. Rooms were booked on a special offer with free breakfast and upgrades. "Small print" didn't say that the upgrade was only on availability, or that (if you wanted the rooms to be together) you couldn't have twin rooms near double rooms. The hotel was busy...but public areas quiet - unusual for Christmas period.
Stayed in the hotel over new year and everything was top class. Staff are very pleasant and the room was spotless. We decided to go for breakfast being brought to our room. There was a broad choice of food which my girlfriend and I both thoroughly enjoyed. Could not recommend this hotel more, great value for your money.
