Not a big variety of food. Phones weren't working. When they were asked, they said a recent storm knocked service out but my family lives there and no recent storm. Difficulty turning shower on. My shower and stink were clogged but they fixed that which was nice.

We asked for a room to be on the first floor, instead we got out on the top floor at the very opposite end from the elevator. Where we had to walk through a construction mess that were horrific paint fumes that filled the air and even into our room. Then during the evening we kept smelling cigarettes and smoke. The hot water never ever got hot barely lukewarm. Didn’t get to try the pool. It was decent on cleanliness. The front desk lady was not the friendliest either. Just disappointed as we’d stayed here in the past and had very little to any issues but this time was a major flop.

Staff was very courteous and helpful with the few issues I had upon first arriving. Check in went smoothly and the Continental breakfast had a good variety.It would be nice to have a sign by the waffle maker that the batter was in the fridge. I had to ask someone where it was. Maintenance was doing some painting in the hallway, but were very accommodating and made sure that we could get through. Overall, nice hotel.
Nice shower head with adjustable spray.
Chairs have been changed since the pictures were taken on the site. So no ottomans, but the chair was still very comfy and roomy.
Nice bed. Mattress wasn't too hard.
There's also a desk in the corner with an office chair if you were traveling for work or need some place to work on a computer.

The room and lobby was cleanand booking was a breeze. Not impressed with the breakfast that is included for the price. We ate elsewhere because not much of a selection. The room was clean and neat but they should of hired real painers. Paint was on the trim where it should not be making it appear a bit junky, well you asked.

The check-in and the room were good. Except for the smoke detector had a wide open battery compartment! And the toilet seat was barely hanging on and much smaller than it should have been. The bowl was really much bigger. The breakfast was very.basic, toast etc but was clearly advertised as Continental and we know that’s not full at all. We enjoyed our two night stay at Super 8 in Great Bend, KS. The hotel while not fancy was clean, staff was friendly and our stay checked all the boxes. Quiet & convenient area with Walmart to the East and Dillons to the West. Located on Grant on the South side of 10th St. We would definitely stay here again.
