The property and the room I stayed in was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. I stayed in at this property in the winter, and room was quite cold when I got in, but did warm up. The breakfast area was quite cold, causing me to need to bring my food back to my room. The breakfast itself was disappointing as well after reading reviews that said there was a large variety. The only protein was breakfast sausages. They did have waffles, and some cereal/yogurt I believe. The only fruit was apples. Not what I was expecting.

The continental breakfast was sorely lacking. There were no plates or bowls, staff members were unconcerned with the issue. How does one eat a waffle with syrup on a napkin? At 830 am Friday morning, all 3 carafes of coffee were empty. I had to request it to be made.

I had an excellent one night stay at the Day's Inn Grayling. I traveled to the area for a snowmobiling trip and the hotel worked out great. The building is in nice shape and everything worked properly in the room. The beds were comfortable, nice bathroom with good ventilation, work area, TV, fridge, microwave, etc. There's plenty of parking for cars/trucks-trailers and the snowmobile trails are right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was pretty good as well with waffles, danishes, oatmeal, premade omlets and a bunch of other stuff. It will be my go-to place when staying in Grayling.

Birthday Conference

Had a wonderful stay here. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We attended a Birthday Party in one of the conference rooms and it was very convenient and no need to leave the premises! The location is right off interstate I-75. The waffles were delicious for breakfast, hot coffee, juice, milk and a variety of toast and muffins. There was also fresh fruit and yogurt! We would stay again!
