The hotel is charming compared to three stars hotels in the center city to the corner of the most important street where many shopping stores there 20 min far away from La Alhambra and generalife the staff are cool and cooperative
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and were pretty disappointed in the hotel. The price and location were good, but the experience as a whole was not great. When we got up to our room, it was not clean, the maids were still moping the floors and they were completely slippery and wet. The worst part about this place are the beds.. I've been to many hostels that had more comfortable beds than this.. Definitely not hotel quality. Very very hard, and I could feel all the springs; falling asleep was very difficult. Walls were very thin also.
Phone in room did not work. 2 electrical outlets in room. Soap dish encrusted and dirty. No shampoo. Stepped on a big cock roach in the bar. All in all, not a good experience. No English channels on TV
Stayed here for 4 night visiting the beautiful small city of Granada, very comfortable and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful in what're to go and see. Continental breakfast with plenty of choices and ample to eat. Room comfortable And clean no kettle as usual on the continent. Good location 10 mins walk from the main square
I'm not sure what makes a hotel 3 star but I would say this hotel is 2 star. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday at the end of Semana Santa. Saturday was $153E and Sunday was $73E. I would say it was worth the $73. This included breakfast for two. Our room was old and dark, very basic, with a bathroom that never dried out. I had a little cold coming in that got worse. Our room smelled like smokers. The second morning we noticed the very full ashtrays in the hallway outside our room. Ugh. I'm pretty sure I said no fumado but that explained the smell. That said, the staff is super friendly. But I was happy to leave.
Excellent hotel representing real value for money and close to the centre of Granada. Good continental breakfast with wide choice and fresh produce. Smart, clean and well-appointed rooms. Would stay again. T&M
My wife and I have just returned from a long weekend in Granada and this hotel was just perfect for us, not too expensive, very clean and comfortable, a good breakfast and all the staff are very friendly and helpful and it is close to all the bars and restaurants. even the Al Ahambra entrance was only 30 minutes walk and the Plaza de Nueva 15 minutes. The rooms are basic, but you won't be paying 5 star prices and other than sleeping and getting changed we were never in the rooms as there is so much to do and the bathroom is good with powerful showers. We would definately stay at this hotel again if we are in Granada
My daughter was a student in Granada and this hotel ended up being closest to where she lived so I decided to book here for convenience. Upon arrival I realized that this was much better than I had imagined it would be. It's a small, comfortable hotel. The rooms are very nicely furnished, clean and very spacious. I stayed a total of 5 days and highly recommend this hotel. It's an excellent location. Plenty of restaurants right in the area and an easy walk to the Cathedral and other areas of interest.
Great location and friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean. Several nice places to eat and drink just around the corner and several public parkings near by. The only negative thing was that the room was a bit cold.
Stayed over for one night. The Hotel is very dated, bit 1960/1970,s decor, however, very clean, good air con, flat screen telly (Spanish programmes only, no english news channels), and a really great location surrounded by shops and quite a few restaurants and bars. Right outside the Hotel is the fabulous La Cueva 1900 restaurant, see seperate reviews. Staff in the Hotel very helpful.
