A very well located hotel close to everything. Room very small with a small frosted window and no view. A little disappointing. Bathroom well equipped. Toiletries replenished every day. Clean and tidy room, coffee making facilities and air con. A little noise from the street late at night and early morning. Breakfast simple but good quality. Staff very friendly and courtious, very welcoming. Problem was our bed, very hard and uncomfortable we did not sleep well during our 4 night break. I would suggest that management replace the mattress in room 307

Fantastic. Excellent location. Room was small but perfect: extremely comfortable, clean, new furniture, great bed/mattress, quiet. The bathroom was immaculate and new. I wish I could have taken it home with me. Great water pressure for the shower. Breakfast was fine. Overall, GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. Staff were pleasant and efficient. This two-star hotel puts to shame many five-star hotels I have stayed at over the years. Highly recommended. And Granada is a gorgeous city, of course.

located in the middle of all attractions in granada -- very close to restaurants and bars, and not too far from the Alhambra or the Albayzin. Staff speaks little English and rooms are small, but clean and safe.

We returned our car at the train station and walked to the hotel. It was a nice, easy walk through some interesting areas. We easily found the hotel on the plaza. Check in was convenient and quick. The room was comfortable, no view but that was fine as we spend little time in our rooms. Wifi was great and the breakfast was very nice. Good options other than another bocadello! (Nice churros place just outside on the plaza.) The bathroom was clean and very adequate. Maciá Plaza was located in a convenient area to walk to the Alhambra using the Justice Gate. (Be sure to have reservations for the Palace and have your tickets.) It was also convenient for walking the shopping streets, the moroccan area and the paseo. Lots of great food options nearby. The taxis right out front were convenient for the trip to the airport. Overall this hotel was a very good value.

This was my second stay at Macia Plaza this year, and like the previous time I was very happy. I am actually surprised it is "only" a two star hotel, as I would rate it higher, at three or 3.5. The style is more like a business hotel, with an excellent location, right in the city centre, Despite this the rooms are very quiet. If you are facing the square it might be louder? As well, the room was spacious with a nice modern bathroom, and I was actually given a double rather than single, free of charge, which was a nice touch. The staff is very nice and helpful, I only had to ask for my room by number once, otherwise they remembered me. Also the room was very clean and the beds comfortable. My only small criticism would be that my room was a bit cold- it might have been because the hotel was very quiet the week before Christmas? The last time I stayed (in January) I didn't have this problem.

Close to everything. Very reasonable pricing. Friendly staff. The day my group was checking out the kitchen staff for a bit overwhelmed because a much bigger group was as well, but I didn't find this too much cheaper of a big deal. I'd come back for sure.

It’s quite pricey but good. The rooms are small but nice and clean. The bathroom doors are made of glass so not alot of privacy. The location is absolutely great but at this price I would recommend other hotels

What's not to like here? In a word - nothing. Upon entering you are greeted cheerfully by the nicest people at reception (seriously, these people are always kind and happy). The rooms are very clean, provide decent amenities (no more hostels for you) and at a great price. They even helped us with holding our luggage for us after check-out and printing some tickets. The location is also fantastic - situated in central Plaza Nueva, there are taxis, bus routes, shops, restaurants and a supermarket literally right outside. If you want a stress-free vacation in Granada, come stay here!

This hotel is in a great location. It was very clean and comfortable The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful-they were great. The room however was very small-and incredibly dark. The only window was heavily frosted and looked out onto a small interior courtyard-no daylight at all. There was no tea or coffee maker-or even a kettle and cups. As there was no safe in the room-we took our valuables with us-and as a result we had our bag stolen in the street outside. I would suggest to the hotel to install individual safes in rooms-and some way of making a hot beverage.

This hotel offers a perfect location for all your tourist sites in Granada. Its on the popular Plaza Nueva with a lot of restaurants to chose. The hotel is a no frills hotel with typical smaller rooms that you find in Europe. It does have some character to it. What made our visit special was Pedro who met us at the desk to check in. What a great guy with a super personality. He was so helpful in all our request. I wish that we had people like Pedro in all of the hotels that we stay. Thanks Pedro for making our visit special. One recommendation that I would make is that you don't need to have a car if you are staying here. We had to park quit a ways away in a parking garage that cost 25 euro a day. Then take a taxi back to the hotel. For the location the price is excellent. We didn't eat the breakfast. Overall, we had a great stay at Hotel Macia Plaza. Thanks again Pedro for everything.
