Best location. Right at center of Plaza Neuva and easily gets you around by walking in major sites of interest. Taxi rank is right in front of the hotel. Get the rooms with exterior view, well worth the upgrade. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel toiletries were short. Room may be a tad bit small for family but okay for solo travelers.
This hotel is in an excellent location! We could easily access The Alhambra and other sights. The staff was very helpful and the dinner recommendations were wonderful. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. Free wifi which was good. The breakfast buffet was ok.
A lovely hotel in a central location close to all amenities. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was available but we chose to eat in local cafes. The views of the Alhambra were spectacular
This hotel is in the perfect location in Granada. We were able to walk to everything! The rooms are quaint and immaculate. We had an awesome view of the plaza from our room. We could also see Alhambra from our balcony. We loved Granada and this hotel!
We just came back from the stay at the Macia Plaza. We do agree that the location is great. We were able to walk or take the metro to most attractions. Breakfast was nice. We had Room 221 on the Plaza. So the issue becomes that the Hotel (or any for that matter) do not turn on their A/C units until later in the season. So if you are use to a cold room at night like we are, you will not get it. We ended up opening the windows. Be prepared for a LOT of street noise. The plaza seems to be a hang out for the many young adults in the area. We heard screaming and singing until 5AM. The windows DO close out most of the noise so it depends on what you prefer. The Hotel room itself was very nice, as were the staff.
Great location close to all important monuments. The room was clean, breakfast good, staff helpful, price reasonable. We had a beautiful view of the square and Alhambra tower. Albaicin, Sacromonte as well as Alhambra in walking distance. There are plenty of restaurant in the vicinity.
The room was clean, bathroom spotless with bath and shower and plenty of hot water. We had breakfast which was plentiful and good value for €8. The staff were friendly and helpful, they all spoke good English, helped with directions, giving out maps and were experts on local transport. Felt like a safe haven in the middle of a bustling city.
We stayed here for three nights and the location was superb - all major attractions within walking distance and very close to restaurants and bars. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were varied and of good quality and well worth having. On the negative side there was not much natural light to the bedrooms and no view unless you have a room at the front of the building. Also the rooms are not well insulated and the plumbing is noisy. However, for a short stay for sightseeing of Granada this hotel was ideal and we would stay for a short break again but would not recommend for a long break. Very good value for money.
Great location to stay in Granada, right on a plaza beside the street of good bars to go at night. The bus stop from ALSA bus station and to Alhambra is just 5 minutes walk away. Counter staff extremely helpful at answering questions for sightseeing providing maps of different focuses. Clean room with comfy beds to relax. Water boiler provided if asked. The bathroom is clean to have a warm bath and has a plugged drying rack. Would 100% stay again and recommend.
The rooms are small but have everything you need and are very clean and modern. The staff is very friendly, the complimentary breakfast is amazing with lots of options, and the location can't be beat (near lots of restaurants bars taxi stand and you can see the Alhambra out the front door) depending on the room there is just a view of a wall out the window but that's par for the course in an old city like this. I really loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again when I return to Granada.
