Stayed here for 2 weeks would not go back no air conditioning in eating restaurant at all if you won't all inclusive and don't wish to put wait on this is the place to go food not a lot of choice at all but that will not mater you will sweet so much in there you will not wish to eat much anyway entertainment well not good room clean and pool clean needs more sun beds but no room for them first time I have tried 3 star and the last did not totally destroy my holiday love in out there but did not stay in hotel no atmosphere at all

We stayed here in july 2017. The rooms were very dated. Had to pay for air con, which shouldn't have to that time of year with how much the hotel cost for a 3*. The food was good but the desserts were the same day in day out. The staff at the bar and within the restaurant really need to be retrained in customer service. All very rude and made you feel uncomfortable. Not one of them said hello. Having previously been to other hotels were the staff have always been very friendly and welcoming. Tiles were coming off in the jacuzzi. Anybody could of cut their feet on them. The only nice part about our stay was the spa and the lady that works in the spa. Hotel too far out of the way if your looking for a bit of night life. 50 mins walk away. Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone to book this hotel.

Lovely fantastic holiday. Clean Very friendly staff. Food was lovely everyday no complaints there & so much choice. Spa was very nice. Dead sea was really good. You can have a 10 min free water bed massage each week you are there....worth doing.😊 Pool areas clean & tidy & all kept nice. Hotel is a little dated but they are doing a 3 million pound referb next April there are signs up about when they are closed for. Night entertainment was ok. Guy was great with the kids and the mini club. Gives you a little time out and his really good with them too. Good location not far to the beach at all. Where ever you stay be warned it's steps down to the beach. 130 in places yo be exact lol. Rooms are cleaned daily l. Towels changed twice daily. Overall excellent service from this hotel can't say anything bad at all. Would defo go back.

Escorial is an ok hotel, very dated although there were signs about the place saying there was a refurbishment planned for next year. Spa and gym were brilliant we went everyday !! the lady in the spa is so of the nicest in the entire hotel i'd say. Staff at the bar seriously needed some more customer service training, often just stood there cleaning whilst 3/4 people waited to be serve. Maybe it was just me but as a half board guest I did feel like staff at the bar took priority over the all inclusive guests...maybe that was just the guests. Pool area was nice we could always get two chairs together which was great. Buffet was decent food, very very German though, which the entire hotel is full of so it makes sense. Always something different most nights for dinner, although dessert was the same day in day out. Rooms were dated but fairly clean, we had an issue with cockroaches despite being on the top floor and barely opening any windows/doors but the reception/cleaners helped out with that tiny issue. Location is good, the hotel next door does look really nice and shiny new which I don't think helps Escorial. Had to pay for air con, not expensive but for the price of the room you think it would just be included, wifi was very good though !!

Excellent value hotel , clean , great staff , good food , would definitely recommend , rooms basic but good , lots of choice of food , all inclusive well worth it , bit of a struggle for sunbeds but everywhere is the same for that

Stayed here for a week.we was on the 5th a little tired but still good.had a lovely big balcony.if you use a hairdryer often then fetch your own as it took ages drying my hair.plenty of space for your clothes and a fridge in the was really good.something for everyone.yes sometimes we had to get our cutlery but was no big deal.drinks really good as well.we went under their hotel were you will find a hidden gem.a massive gym(not that I used it) we went in the salt pool which was good, the steam room then in the indoor pool which was lovely.plenty of shops nearby.its rated a 3 star but it was better than some 4 stars that I have stayed in.getting revamped next year.wouldnt hesitate staying here no issues with staff or other guest.👌🏻

Stayed for a week. Food was really nice and room was lovely after we got moved. E-mailed previously to ask for a high up room. Got a 3rd floor room but after issues with balcony door not closing properly and next door snoring we moved to the 6th floor. Lovely views of the sea and mountains. Only downside were the germans. So rude, none stop staring. Felt like i had two heads or something. Staff pleasent and cannot fault the spa! Dead sea pool was definitely a good experience!

The Escorial was excellent as far as the amenities go and the staff were also very friendly and professional apart from the older male receptionist who definitely needs to retire in my opinion. Food was very good for a buffet, although my daughter had a bad experience on one occasion after eating the paella. English sausages were off (tangy) on the one occasion I tried them but apart from this the choice and quality of food was quite superb. Evening entertainment was pretty basic but was a laugh if you didn't take it too seriously and the full time entertainer (animator) made up for the quality. He was really good and worked like a trouper. The games room was huge and well equipped however it was a bit warm due to there being no air conditioning or windows. Same goes for the gym. The spa was truly out of this world and for some reason was rarely used by anyone. The indoor pool and lots of interactive features which were controllable and the Dead Sea pool was fabulous in it's cave like setting. The spa was 5* hotel treatment, so much so we didn't use the main outdoor pool. Rooms are pretty dated but acceptable with large balconies and plenty of storage space. Air conditioning was not necessary with ceiling fans and patio doors to the front and an opening bathroom window to the rear allowing the air to circulate. Taking extra payment of 2 euros a day with a 10 euro deposit for use of the room safe is not a good feature though. I presume most visitors would need somewhere to put their passports, money, etc. The bar was perfect with both local and international brands served and always with a smile. All inclusive had beer and soft drinks serve yourself taps if you didn't want to wait. The rooftop solarium is a must visit with cracking views, few people and a bonus jacuzzi. Particularly beneficial as the walk to the beach is rather long-winded. Overall I would recommend this hotel and it will be even better when it gets refurbished next year.

First time at this hotel. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Room was adequate for our needs and cleaned on a daily basis. Food was of good choice and quality. Enjoyed orange juice at breakfast and omelettes, which are cooked in front of you as per your order. Good proximity to beach and promenade although you have 128 steps to go down to the beach. Helps keep you fit. Wellness Centre at hotel is excellent and Dead Sea Pool is a great experience. Sun Terrace on roof has great views of surrounding area. Never had any problems getting sunbeds/loungers around pool area or the grass area (gardens). There is also a play park area for younger children. Never had any problems with any of the other guests whom we found to be pleasant and courteous at all times. Would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

food was good room was good all the staff where helpful apart from one male member of staff at reception was rude and not very helpful good value for money good selection of drink even british vodka Smirnoff.
