Go off season as long as you expect to want nothing but quiet and no crowds. No elevator service as this is when maintenance is done on them. Vending machine service is extremely limited. No dining options. No stores. Eat in Golden, BC or bring your food with you. Very small rooms.

I realize that we are there off season, but I chose this hotel because of it being a resort, and expected to stay somewhere nice. Especially when my main request was that it have a restaurant. It did not...and a 14KM drive to the nearest one. There was issues with the room as well...and it needs attention. The door handle was not working properly and it took several attempts to leave the room. The coffee maker was dirty(burnt coffee stuck to the bottom) and the Patio door screen did not close....nothing that was a game changer, but you can tell it is not getting looked after properly. We were also charged a resort fee???? In what way was this a resort...with no restaurant or ammenties. It was just a hotel. Overall will not go back...even if skiing

It’s about 10s away from the Main Street, hotel itself is decent for a few days stay but god the mosquitoes are killers there. Didn’t realize it was so bad. Make sure you carry loads of sprays

Nice location being up by the ski hill we had great views of the valley. Our room was clean and comfortable. Overall it is good value for the price particularly when compared to other hotels in the area.

This property provides beautiful unique views, but is a bit remote. Not super convenient location. The room had no air conditioning and it was uncomfortably HOT! However, the restaurant on site was amazing, the room was very nice and the property provided a great little getaway.

Booking was an absolute nightmare. Receptionist was very rude and condescending. We asked simple questions… the Sauna was out of service. Had to book a time to use the hot tub. Parking was a block away unless you paid for parking underground.

Loved this place and we had a great view of Kicking Horse Ski Resort from our balcony. Close to Golden golf course too. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The only thing that we did not know is the restaurants aren’t open every day. Had we known this we would have brought some extra food with us.

This place is way off the beaten path, road is paved, free parking lot is not. Room had no ac but 2 fans (pathetic really for the 400 a night) Bottom line is…..the entire concept of this place revolves around ski season, in the “off season” you get no a/c, no restaurants that are open and front desk staff that act like your interrupting them from something important…..when you’re the only patron to be seen.
