I stay here each time I come to Surfers Paradise. Not anything flash and rooms do need updating. However still a good place to stay and family friendly. Location is convenient and walking distance to the Cavill Mall and tram station. Right near the beach and depending which room you get, you have great views of the ocean. I would definitely stay here again, especially great value for money. Staff are friendly. Did have wifi but only 1gb for the 4 night stay, would prefer unlimited when staying more than 1 night. Overall I enjoyed my time, thank you.
Great apartments with incredible ocean views. Very clean and tidy inside and out. Managers are friendly and accommodating. So close to the beach and Cavill Avenue, no need to drive anywhere! We will return again.
booked for two nights and love the place and dont want to leave already!!!! prime location. great apartment layout. ocean view is sooo nice and i love the balcony. its not the newest apartments but has everything you need
we stayed here for a week after reading good reviews on trip advisor and this place was a massive let down we checked in on a Saturday arvo to be greeted by a locked door at the front only to find out that reception is only a few hours each day on weekends we had to use a outside phone to get let in then another phone to get our key from a safe on the wall both times the people on the phone where very cool like we where wasting there time when we got in the room we found it to be not very clean long black hair stuck to the wall under towel rack hair on floor in the bathroom ,no face washers or tea towel and the supplies of soap for the dish washing and clothes washing where very small satchels only on the sunday when we went to check in we where greeted by a rude New Zealand woman who more or less said to our faces when we brought up about the reception being closed that they work 7 days a week and need rest ( SO DO I BUT AT LEAST I TRY TO BE FRIENDLY TO THE PUBLIC WHO PAY MY WAGES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ) we where told if you don,t like it leave then ! and to top it all off when we needed a extra roll of toilet paper during the week we got charged $ 1.50 for the second roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also in its booklet and on website it states beach views nope the building in front blocks that out but all pictures don,t show any building in front of it the only up side of the whole stay was the 2 friendly Asian guys that did reception when it was open
My partner and I stayed in a one bedroom apartment the previous yearIn May, for our annual Broadbeach Blues Festival holiday. The views are incredible. Listening to the rolling waves when going to sleep is soooo relaxing. Cavill Avenue is a short walk away for groceries, restaurants etc. My partner didn't want to get out of the spa. The pool is a good size and the patrolled beach is across the road...paradise! I loved it so much I ended up buying one of the apartments!!...so happy I discovered this gem...had a month up there in May and can't wait for my next visit...what a bargain dream holiday !!
This apartment was clean & tidy with beautiful views. The room had some newer furnishings to upgrade it which was nice. It was an easy walk to Cavill Avenue & the light rail. The staff were friendly & happy to advise on local deals.
The building maybe a little old and dated, but the location and views make up for it. Have stayed here twice in 2 different units and both where clean and tidy. Walking distance to Cavill Ave restaurants and bars.
Me and my wife travelled from hervey bay for few dayz jst for a short break and had a memorable time.she booked this place and had an amazing time.beautiful location and everything close by. we were alloted the 4th floor but the view of the ocean wasnt good and we requested to shift to higher floor which was given without any fuss and we ended up on the 10th floor and the view was breathtaking. we had spa on the terrace and at the poolside too.the people at the reception were very welcoming and helpful and made it very comfy for us. anytime if we will return back to gold coast, this place will be our favorite place to stay. cat and ash!
We had room 1002 so up on the 10th floor. The room faced east with a view to the beach and up and down the Esplanade in both directions. Beautiful sunrises every morning. The room itself was perfect. It had everything we needed for a 10 day stay. The Queen bed was excellent to sleep on and the shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer all worked perfectly. There was a spa and sauna on the top floor which we used regularly and it was great. There was a pool and spa on the ground floor which was nice to. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no issues with the room or the building or even the location. We were 3 streets from Cavil Ave, Q1 building and the tram at the top of our street. Couldn't ask for a better location is wanting to stay in Surfers...would highly recommend this place to anyone
The apartment is located at Laycock street, just a 3 mins walk to the nearest beach & 5 mins to the city centre. Always choose a unit facing the beach and you can get the beach stunning view in the morning as the sun rise and sun set. The apartment is a family style apartment with no house keeping provided, you will need to keep the unit clean and tidy at all time and it was the house rules upon check in. The apartment have a swimming pool at the ground floor, dry sauna at the roof top but malfunction. Resident have to bring along the key with a big chain in and out of the apartment therefore you better not to lose it because it is also the key to enter the apartment after business hour. Overall the place is great due to its location, the only cons will be the shower pressure isn't that strong, the rest are just fine. Will visit again.
