It was lovely the rooms were big clean and wonderful the staff very friendly and happy to help loved our two day stay wish it was longer I will be coming back we walk around the water it's close to different restaurants a short walk to sea world

Terrible. Was told a number of times that pool was heated to 26 degrees, yet no one was in the pool as it was freezing. Service has progressively declined recently so we have decided to stay elsewhere. Maybe Sheraton across the road will be truthful with the temperature of the pool as we were told that the pool at Versace was heated before booking.

After seeing the hotel on the tv we booked to stay and the decor of the hotel was just as beautiful if not better than expected. I did not expect it to be so close to the road yet this had no impact on you as soon as you entered the hotel. We got their early and staff were very helpful to get us into our room as soon as possible but making sure we were comfortable and happy until then. The pool staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was lovely, we had a jacuzzi bath which was great. Room service was reasonably priced and delicious and the breakfast buffet was lovely. We did go about 6:30am so was quiet which worked for us. Would love to come back and enjoy the hotel again

Had High Tea at the Palazzo Versace. The food was good, nicely presented and of course expensive due to the venue (which is stunning). We were disappointed with the service. Wait staff rarely came around to provide water or check on us. We had also requested more hot water for tea. I was hoping a new tea bag would be provided for the price of the high tea but this was not the case.

If you love and enjoy all things Versace, gold empire style furniture and art, decoration & accents, the Versace is the place for you! The Versace is sssooooo Versace and Donald Trump! Fantastic hotel accommodation with large in room spa bath, great bar and bistro serving ever so tasty cocktails and high tea, extensive buffet breakfast, gorgeous outdoor lap lagoon pool with cabanas, luxurious indoor spa, Versace shop, valet service and the list goes on. The Versace also caters to the opera lovers by hosting an operatic performance on one Friday evening each month (unfortunately we chose the wrong Friday to stay). The only disappointment for me was that my children were not permitted in the pool or spa as these amenities catered for 18+ years. Nonetheless, my two daughters and I had great fun!

Stayed in the Palazzo Versace for a special weekend away with wife for her birthday. We were staying in this wonderful apartment in condominium part of the hotel and it was brilliant. Quiet and comfortable. Yes it is luxurious and upmarket. Overpriced a bit if you ask me, but I suppose you pay for the name. Food and coffee good but not up there. Deco is typical Italian, but that's not my style Entertainment equipment (TV, Hi-Fi) at level of 2 star motel. Disappointing. Pool area - great However charging $50 for a bed ? Strange in such a hi level facility, after guests forked out so much for a stay. If you want to be seen in this Versace heaven go and enjoy For me once was enough.

Came with high expectations after hearing about Palazzo Versace for years. My experience was good and really nothing significant to complain about. Since it was only a short stay I didn't sample all the hotel had to offer. Overall I just felt most of the time that the place was dated and due for a refurbishment. When looking closely at just about every surface or fixture it showed it's age and wear and tear. Don't get me wrong - it's not like its falling apart or "broken" - just used. Time for some reinvestment I suggest. My big tick item on rating a hotel - the shower - sorry Palazzo, it's a fail. Very hit and miss on hot water - took a long time to get hot and seemed to surge hot and cold during my shower. Time to update the shower heads and mixers at least - and see how you can make the air-conditioning quieter. A great property but if nothing is done soon it will slip behind. Oh, and don't leave bright red wheel bins in the nook next to the lifts - not exactly a five-star look. Staff I interacted with were all okay - sorry nothing spectacular - but no complaints.

Our stay at Palazzo was absolutely brilliant from check in to check out, the lagoon room was amazing and serviced well, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was amazing and so is the pool area. The Concerige also helped us organise boat hire in the marina :) One negative: the restaurant veritas made us both very ill which made us loose a day in recovery..

Love the poolside but there's not much more. Unfortunately it is not what I expected as it was apparently once much more better. The breakfast buffet was average. Unfortunately I did not get much sleep as the bed was uncomfortable and the aircon was noisy. It is a good experience, very grand and I am hoping for a better experience on my next visit.

Stayed recently in july, found the valet parking good and the bag service efficient.Check in seemed good initially arriving at 1.30 pm to be told our suite would be ready shortly and just take a complimentary drink in the adjacent bar.Two hours later after asking twice with no attempt to contact us to explain the delay we were eventually given the keys to the room.No escort to the room ,or any explanation of the room facilities or even the hotel layout or restaurant options. The laguna suite was nice ,of a good size and nicely decorated ,the view of the pool was ok but a view of the marina or broad water would be better.Breakfast was overcrowded ,food selection 4 star standard and the service poor, tea and coffee arriving after we had finished on the first two mornings, cutlery missing from the table etc.The fine dining restaurant was closed for two nights out of the four we stayed so was unable to review. If we had been informed at check in that it was closed sunday and monday would of been helpful. As one of the other restaurants was also closed for refurbishment for our entire stay we were left with the only option of the buffet breakfast restaurant for evening meals which we declined in favour of restaurants on the marina .Glass restaurant was really enjoyable and the family friendly Rumps and Ribs good value. The pool was not heated and your pool towels are in your wardrobe another thing not informed about until you get to the pool.As a five star hotel,no pool staff to help you ,drink service to your lounger non existent, also the surrounding buildings block the sun so was moving around the pool area to stay in the sun.I know it was winter ,but probably my worst pool service experience I can remember in a 5 star hotel anywhere in the world.Management employ more staff !!!!.Individually around the hotel came access some really friendly staff and did like the room and the location is good close to sea world and 5 min drive /taxi upto surfers paradise and liked the marina restaurants and bars within a short walk of hotel.
