We were in a king suit with the ocean view which was really quite nice as the balcony wraps around the length of the room. The bed was good, the TV was a bit frustrating o work at times and very poor quality picture, but the interactive menus to explore the restaurants was quite cool. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING! and the staff in the main restaurant was great. The dinner in this restaurant was great as well. The room service food was average, and I didn't get a chance to try the Japanese or tappas ones, but they looked quite extensive. The room could have been cleaner though. We had A LOT of long hair on the bed, on the carpets, on the bathroom floor, and even folded in some of the hand towels. Not great to be honest. The spa bath looked nice but didn't use it consider the other cleanliness issues. Shower very old and very hard to just get a normal warm temperature. Location great as it was a 30 min walk up the beach (only 3 min to the beach) to Surfers, and only about 20 to the other main shopping plaza South for more food options and shopping. $15/day parking in their underground park which was great considering the cost of parking most local areas!
this was the second time to stay, my stay previously was a mid week and the staff were so good I decided to take my wife away on here Birthday. spacious rooms and wonderful views were the start easy walking distance to the many restaurants on Broadbeach. With the new Gold Coast G Link very close it is only a stop away from the Casino. The facilities suit families ,couples or singles. Breakfast in the four seasons 360 views were the crowning moment. we are already planning another visit
House keeping staff messed with my toiletry items thinking I wouldn't notice. I say, if your so unhappy with your work get another job where your employers value you and doesn't mess with guest belongings! They contaminated my items leaving it useless. Scum! I had to throw out my Aveda facial cleanser and facial toning mist because it was contaminated. Its gone cloudy in colour when it is originally transparent. Thanks for nothing SCUM!!
Spent 6 nights here. No doubt that the hotel has some good points - the location is good, close to the beach and the tram for easy access to other parts of the Gold Coast. Room and bathroom a good size. Staff seemed friendly enough. However, it was a bit too ‘corporate’ for us. It’s a little tired for sure, carpets etc need cleaning or replacing. Our main gripe is the catering though. Breakfast was just like a mad rugby scrum. On several mornings we had to queue for a table. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, but nothing stoodout, think mass catering not boutique chic - too many people loading plates with vast amounts of food which seemed to be left - the wastage here must be huge. On our first night we dined in because we had arrived fairly late. This was ok, but certainly not memorable. We also dined in Four Winds 360 which I have reviewed separately - the worst dining experience of all. Hotel was OK overall but I doubt we would stay again.
Have been here many times for work functions using the conference rooms but this was the time I was able to stay at the hotel. It is certainly up there on my list of nice hotels to stay in. The dinner restaurant and breakfast are world class standards. There is a massive choice to choose from when having breakfast and i tried most things on the menu over the 4 days and can't fault anything at all. Usually there is something this isn't up to scratch but not here. The dinner menu is sensational and I highly recommend the seafood pasta. It is too die for. I was in a king Spa suite and the room was as expected. My only disappointment was with the pillows. They were way too soft and should have a couple of other options in the wardrobe to choose from but not the end of the world. Will definitely be happy to stay there again.
Stayed here for 3 nights in December. Our room was on the 21st Floor with fantastic views of the beaches and coastline. Room was very large with a balcony, king bed, dining table and large bathroom. Service was excellent and upgraded being a IHG Platinum Ambassador Member. Breakfast was fantastic with quite a large selection. Swimming Pool was great with plenty of lounges and towels supplied. Hotel is directly opposite the light rail which will take you into Surfers Paradise in 5 minutes and to Pacific Fair in the other direction. There are also quite a few restaurants within walking distance at Burleigh Heads.
Fabulous property, fast easy check in process with fantastic friendly customer service extended to us. Every staff member I had contact with was courteous and friendly. Room on 9th floor (906) was corner King and just Great. Large spacious room & bathroom and extremely clean. Case goods are getting a bit tired but when you have such a warm welcome and can be comfortable in such a well appointed room you can forgive a few scratches and chips to woodwork. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, would not hesitate in coming back to stay again. Your staff know the true meaning of hospitality and what the industry is all about. You can’t go wrong staying here.
Great room with a view, great food, meals are quite big, even better staff. Room service was quick, professional and friendly. Great relaxing atmosphere, family friendly. Buffett breakfast was delightful.
Crown Plaza is one of the best hotels of gold coast, it is located near to surfers Paradise and it just two blocks away from the beach area, so you can get a amazing view the pool and gym facilities are again superb, best point for the vegetarians is they provide good vegetarian breakfast they usually have more options then other hotels of the same area and even the service is good.
We had a one night stay in the Gold Tower. Spacious room with lovely interior and large bathroom. Bed was lovely and breakfast the next morning was A++ We have stayed at 2 other Crown Plaza Hotels and this one was by far our favourite. And $15 secure parking underneath! Would most definitely stay again.
