Stayed for 4 nights, upon arrival receptionist was lovely! Room was decent size with nice view, but there was construction site next door which unfortunately meant it was quite noisy. Good location, walking distance from everything!
Location was spot on for Cypress st Tram station. Across road from Beach and patrolled. Whilst building was old the common areas spotless. 5 th floor room with 2 Bedrooms very spaciouse and perfect for us 2 big guys. Furniture choices cheap and not perfect but beds were great. Staff nice. Would i stay there again, yes but Gold Coast is expensive school holidays so would look to get better value out of holiday time. If u have larger vechicle there is boom gate outside parking thats hard to beat. Love the spaciouse driveway and presentation of front of building. Great undercover arrival vechicle area.
The hotel is in an excellent location right across from the beach, we walked to the mall for eating and shopping and had a long walk on the beach. It was very relaxing and the pool was really good too.
I have been staying here since the 80s and this hotels location on the Surfers Paradise strip is an asset. I have stayed in a different rooms over the years with some I prefer over others. In this visit I stayed on the northern side of the hotel with a beach view. I was grateful for the change due to the demolition of the multi-story hotel next door on the southern side. I couldn't really hear the demo from my room but heavy machinery was operating around 7.00 am when I was on the synthetic tennis court. The rooms are comfortable and clean and staff are friendly. I didn't use either pool or sauna on this occassion due to a tight sporting competition schedule. The hotel is close to restaurants and some attractions such as mini golf and the sling shot. The tram is about 1 mins walk down the road if you want to head to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. There is cable tv and my room had an air conditioner on a 2hr timer that may be a hassle in summer but didn't bother me on this winter trip. My kitchen was missing a cutting board which would have been handy and would perhaps save potential damage to the laminate benchtop. There is a full kitchen and laundry in the 2 bedroom apartments. I would stay here again as this is one of my favourite hotels despite the building looking its age in places. As I am not pretentious and have aged with this building I find this hotel a comfortable retreat and it lives up to its 3.5 star rating unlike other hotels that claim more than what thet are.
Staff were very friendly and helpful with booking activities and transport making the holiday relaxing not having to organise it ourselves, also moved us to a better room when noise was going on in another room. Very happy with our stay here
Great view lots of other issues tho won't stay here again also building work next door waking us up at 630am dirty place aircon didn't work we complained but was never sorted in are week stay. We loved surfers paradise great fun.
Matress in Unit 8F was dreadful so we slept very poorly and the unit was noisy due to renovations occurring in the building next door. The location was fantastic and the staff friendly. Property amenities were well maintained. It was difficult to access the lifts from the basement car park for this unit requiring you to climb stairs. Not suitable for people with disability issues and water pressure in shower was poor.
Thank you for my stay. I stayed with you for a week, I was on the gold Coast for a operation. The location was perfect, your staff first class, my the room was old, tired and outdated, the beds where uncomfortable and hard, there was missing or blown light bulbs, the ensuite bathroom vanity was warped and cracked chipboard that was exposed. The shower head was filthy and rusted, the stove rangehood was full of grease and flthy, the dinning table had heat burn marks and the washing machine was louder than a jet and seemed to be always off balance. The TV was small for the room and there wasn't a TV in the main bedroom. The location is perfect but the room was very well below anything close to exceptable.
Stayed in an Ocean View apartment. Great view. Straight across from the beach. Had all the amenities. 3 minute stroll to Cavill Mall. Good pool and spa. Close to public tannsport. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay her again.
Wonderful place to stay was so comfortable there and felt so safe we had a room with ocean view and saw the sunrise every morning, so close to all the shops and trips can be arranged from reception. Close to the Outback Spectaculiar a must see for anyone, well organised and has lots of Australian history
