Oceanfront Hotels in Gold Beach, OR

"This motel is saved by the view! The view is of the mouth of the Rogue River with Gold Beach as the backdrop. Absolutely stunning. The check in was rough as I had 2 girls that were in, or around high school age demanding I give my phone number. When I said no thank you, one of the girls sternly said it's required for check in. I gave a fake number and went about my stay, proving they didn't need my number. The room had a plethora of fruit flies in the sink drain, and the room smelled stale. The aforementioned view is spectacular as you enter and there is an outdoor space. Unfortunately, the outdoor space is not very private. The scene is otters, sea lions and birds of prey in a playground like setting for animals. Bed was ok, not great. Location is fabulous and the restaurant was good enough. Hope this helps."
