"They enforce a strict 48-hour cancellation policy, then make it impossible to cancel by never answering the phone. Busy signal. Every. Single. Time. By the time a human finally picked up on a non-published number I had to get from Expedia, my cancellation window had passed and when I asked for an exception, they admitted they have phone problems and refused anyway. So they acknowledge their phones are broken, they know it stops guests from canceling on time, and they keep your money anyway. That's not a policy, it's a scam dressed up as fine print. Don't book here. To them you're not a guest, you're a payment they've already pocketed. Take your business somewhere that picks up the phone and treats people decently."
