My mother and mother in law were disabled and both had walkers but yet we got a room with stairs and no elevator access. Please make this facility ADA approved My grand niece wanted a banana and the kitchen staff had nothing to offer her... sad

Terrible experience. We were poorly welcomed by a clerk who barely gave us the time a day and informed us at the 4pm check in time that the pool closed at 4pm that day. Her tone was very “deal with it” The person who walked us to the room was interrupted by a very long phone call (from the front desk) and was not able to share the very little information he has on the property. Did not offer to research and get back to us either. When we got to the room, I called the desk to ask for the WiFi code and was almost barked at with the information. In terms of the property itself, you are sold a “mansion”, but the bedrooms are part of a red brick building in the back of the beautiful facade… Truly disappointed. We will not go back nor recommend this property.

The room was the quality of a Motel 6…bent lamp, dirt in corners, clogged drain, didn’t change sheets, Painted sloppy with drips all over floor and fixtures. Nobody bothered to even wipe the paint off while painting. Cracks in ceiling patched poorly. Same with walls. I wouldn’t complain if I had paid 75.00. Never stay here again.

EXTREMELY unhappy with my stay. So unhappy that I checked out within 30 mins of arriving. Room was not as advertised. Amenities advertised were why I chose This place over other places were unavailable due to renovation- no mention of this until I was Given a brochure when I checked in. I specifically chose this room because it advertised a shower/bath combo, however I was given a room with a shower stall. The hot tub advertised was in the spa which was closed for renovation. Worst part was that me and my partner had to walk amongst guests during their cocktail hour if their event to get to our room. This was to get out of the hotel as well. It made me feel like a prisoner in my room so as not to disturb whatever event was going on. This was supposed to be a relaxing night away for us and instead it had me so stressed out we left within 30 minutes. Worst experience

This was a very nice, quiet, and convenient stay for a wedding I was celebrating nearby (St. Patrick’s in Glen Cove). The location and space is beautiful. There is some room for improvements, mostly in the decor department. The hallways and room were on the “bland” side of decor. Very standard wallpaper and good lighting, but the walls clearly had spaces where portraiture or paintings could be added to liven the place. An idea could be scenes from around Glen Cove or Long Island. The room itself was very clean and neat, a very comfortable bed and great linens. There could be a few more furnishings (an armchair and maybe some paintings and a cabinet for the mini fridge). The downside to the bathroom was that there was no vent. Also, there was no place to hang a towel to dry after use. Lastly, the shower was good, with great water pressure and good temperature control. But there was no type of seal around the sliding door to prevent water from spilling out of the shower. I’d recommend a rubber track at the bottom of the sliding door that can resolve this problem. Otherwise, this was a wonderful and pleasant stay!
