Excellent service; property needs maintenance
The staff at this resort are excellent and my friends and I were extremely happy with their service. They were attentive, polite and always had a smile on their faces. Unfortunately, the property itself was not as good. We encountered a number of problems during our stay.
1) the living room and dining areas flood when it rains. imagine trying to have a nice chat with your friends with puddles of water everywhere. To be fair, the staff did mop up the water once the rain subsided but when it rained again in the evening, and the staff had retired for the day (5 pm), there was water all over the living room and dining room again. This resulted in my daughter slipping and hitting her head.
2) the property needs be upgraded/maintained better. The shower heater for all the rooms except one did not work and we had to shower in cold water. The door for one of the rooms upstairs was broken. The air conditionings for 3 of the rooms were not working. The bathrooom in the smaller room upstairs had a plumbing problem and would flood every time anyone had a shower. On the last day, one of the toilets was blocked and nearly overflowed (nobody threw paper into the toilet)
The manager at the property did make up for the inconvenience after we told him about it (thank you) but I do hope that the property maintenance will be improved as the hotel itself is quite beautiful.
