We absolutely loved our stay, especially with the kind and friendly service by all the staff. The pool is fantastic and the resort is away from the hustle and bustle to truly relax. The teak woodwork and furniture are beautiful in the rooms. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel. The staff were lovely and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very traditional and huge. The hotel is in a fantastic location on the beachfront, food was very good. We had a wonderful stay.

Went out of season but lovely hotel and great value. Rooms (mini house !) have lots of character Breakfast was very nice and much better than most in Bali / Lombok I’d recommend it unless you want to be in the heart of the action Near Turtle snorkelling areas

The only Balinese style hotel on the island, other hotels also looked amazing but were more modern and party oriented. This property was quite far away, no walking distance so you have to either bike or take the carriage but totally worth it because it’s isolated from the crowd and the party area

My wife and I absolutely loved Desa Dunia. By far the best place we've stayed at during our Bali Honeymoon. We booked the beachfront villa and it exceeded our expectations. You can see the beachfront clearly and it's less than a 50 meter walk from your doorstep to the beach. The resort is on the opposite side of where all the parties and activity takes place which is what we wanted but when we did want to take part in the action the other side of the island wasn't even a 15 minute bike ride.

DDB has everything & more!

Desa Dunia Beda was a dream! The resort's grounds were absolutely beautiful. Big swimming pool, private bungalows surrounded in lush greenery with spacious, dreamy outdoor sunken-in bathrooms, and a lovely breakfast with a variety of options. The location was perfect. Far away from the noisy side of the island but still close to many great restaurants & beaches bars. They provided bike rentals at a low cost compared to what you would get elsewhere (no haggle/no hassle), snorkeling equipment, and the on-site massage services that were incredible!! I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

This hotel was great. Very Indonesian style. Breakfast is worth getting up for! The staff are great, so friendly! Only thing was it was a little far from the busier part of the island but the area where the hotel is is lovely!! The air con could have been a bit stronger. Overall would recommend!

Elegant, tranquil Indonesian haven on party island

Beautiful, elegant resort. Extremely well maintained and lovely, friendly staff. Beautiful setting on north Gili T overlooking the beach. Inviting pool, harmoniously situated in tropical gardens. Delightful, generous breakfast provided on beach front. Room was very "romantic" with four poster bed, decorated with flowers ob our arrival. Great welcome with refreshing fruit cocktail at reception after a harrowing boat trip from Bali followed by an unsettling ride by horse cart in the dark to the resort from Gili T port. Could benefit with more power points in room and brighter lighting for reading as room is dark and option to have a hot shower in such an polished resort. Would certainly recommend staying here if you are looking for rest and relaxation withcstunning sunsets.

Quaint, traditional Balinese joglo villas. Outdoor shower only one temperature! Initial troubles with water going off but sorted after first day. Lovely Sea water pool. On quiet northern side of island. Staff friendly. Food very good. Walk to main town in 30 mins. Need cidomo with luggage on arrival/departure (150,000 rupiah each way & no haggling, standardized fair).

Beautiful hotel- couldn't recommend more!

A friend and I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and didn't want to leave at the end!! The hotel and room was beautiful, each having a private hut was lovely. All the staff were so friendly and helpful for anything we needed - we went on a 4 hour snorkeling trip booked through the hotel which we highly recommend. The food was also very good for breakfast, lunch or dinner and we enjoyed eating on the beach or by the pool. We definitely will be returning and telling all our friends and family to visit Desa Dunia Beda too!!

DO NOT STAY!

SAVE YOURSELF!! Don't stay here! Don't even bother coming to this island! After a five hour journey to arrive, we found out that this hotel is on the South end of the island making it virtually impossible to get to and from it. The horse took 15 minutes through backway dirt roads full of burning garbage (not kidding!) So many twists and turns it would be impossible to remember how to navigate on your own. We arrived and were not happy with how far it was but no one would help us to cancel. We went back to the main part of town and found ourselves stranded at night! 11pm and the horses had gone to sleep leaving us with no way back. No help from the hotel to return. We had to rent a second hotel and return in the morning to collect our luggages. The hotel staff was continually unhelpful. Even after we told them what time our boat was leaving so that we could ensure that there would be someone to take us, they were unable to comply. I would never in a million years return here. Rude, irresponsible, and unreliable. Terrible island. Worst location for a hotel with no warning that we would encounter difficulty returning.

Superb

This is one of the best resorts, if not the best on the island. It's on the quieter side of the island and from our trip caters to young couples and families. A lot of the others seem to cater to younger crowds with loud music and drinks offers. This one seemed more traditional in style. There's lots of space between huts and perhaps only as many as 15, so it never felt busy. The rooms are amazing. They are spacious and traditional. It's nice having the balcony to sit on and watch the waves. The food and drinks were competitively priced with other places in the area. The staff were friendly and attentive. Photos don't do it justice. Had I known how nice it was. I would have stayed a lot longer than 2 days to relax more.
