An oasis in the old town

A very private oasis right in the heart of the old town. Our room was out the back through a garden offering a beautiful private area to relax outside on a nice day. The inside had three levels the entrance and table, step down into the bedroom and bathroom or up the stairs into the lounge and large hot tub. The bed was excellent and comfortable and the split system air conditioner kept the place nice and comfortable. You walk out through the garden and the main building and you are literally right in the middle of all the action as far as sights, shopping and food are concerned.

Excellent location in the centre of the city. We loved the room, lots of space and cupboards and a fridge. However, please be aware that there is a very steep spiral staircase to access the room, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues

The service was fantastic, and the location couldn't be better if you are trying to see the historic part of Ghent.

We stayed in the king room in the little house at the back of the courtyard. Positives: the property itself has a fantastic location right in the centre of Ghent. The courtyard is beautiful and very quiet. We were able to have our coffee outside thanks to the nice weather. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Downsides: the property could benefit from an overall update. This used to be one of the top B&B's of Ghent, but you can see it gets a bit older: loose tiles, marks on wall, dirty windows, broken lights,... It needs a bit of TLC to get back on the top of the list. But all in all, a very comfortable stay right in the city center with very friendly staff!

Beautiful space in convenient location

We loved our stay at Chambreplus Kriski. Lower rating for service just because we didn't really receive (or need) any. Hard to rate something you don't use. We arrived on a public holiday so the keys were left in a lockbox for us. The location is perfect- right in the heart of everything we wanted to see. They provided a list of restaurant, etc recommendations but we didn't make use of it. Mostly just picked what was nearby as we went along. We stayed in the romantic suite. The set up is a bit odd (you can see into the bathroom from pretty much the entire downstairs which we found awkward). Otherwise, the space was clean and comfortable.

A superb stay but tricky stairs

A wonderful stay! Very comfortable with a beautiful view over a garden that we also used for dinner and breakfast once. The staff were very helpful. About the only negative thing is that there is only a staircase of narrow stairs to reach the room. Carrying luggage up is a bit tricky

We booked the room on the top floor, expecting it to be more quiet. Our suite was great. The street was very noisy all night, being near a bar with loud clientele, loud cars, trucks, motorcycles. There are steep stairs, so it's important to be in good shape to book this lovely room. The staff was wonderful!

The location was perfect for walking to all the old parts of Ghent. Very clean and beautiful old beams in the ceiling area. There was no elevator and one had to be careful going up the wide spiral staircase but they carried our luggage up and then back down for us.

Excellent, boutique style accommodation. We'll located in the city centre. Lovely clean well appointed spacious room with stylish courtyard garden. Shame that it no longer has a breakfast room, but understand that this is because of no demand, in fairness plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.
